The Colts had 4 million in cap space at the start of the day and just traded for Sauce. You can make it work if you are willing to mortgage the future for the present.

At some point Bills management needs to act with a sense of urgency because if they keep wasting season after season of Josh Allen's career on settling for Division round and AFC championship appearances there won't be a future.

I would take Deebo over doing nothing

I honestly wouldn’t. You can’t do something just for the sake of doing something. He brings nothing to the table that’s going to contribute to this team making a legitimate Super Bowl push. I’d rather use the resources trading for a DL/DE to fill in for Hoecht than a Deebo Nothingburger.

As much as we all want a shiny new toy at WR, myself included, Defense is still the glaring need.  I mean you CAN make more than one move, maybe Beane should be taking a few notes from Howie Roseman.

Brandon Lloyd had 74 catches and 911 yards that year.

You are actually proving my point exactly.  The Patriots offense was built to distribute the ball to slot receivers, tight ends and running backs.  Which is perfectly fine.  I'm good with that being our method of attack, if that's where our skills strengths lie.  Make Kincaid and Shakir the focal point.

But everyone knows that Brady could still make you pay deep, which is why teams were reluctant to cheat heavily towards the line of scrimmage.  Even Gronk could catch a deep ball down the seem if the safeties were too focused on the underneath stuff.  Not to mention, he was light years ahead of pretty much every QB in NFL history (including Josh Allen) in terms of diagnosing where to distribute the ball pre-snap.

Keon Coleman is on-pace for about 60 catches and 600 yards, and that's with Allen force-feeding him the ball at times.  His usage is actually going down as the year goes along.  It's clear the Bills don't have the horses to challenge defenses on the outside.  An overweight gadget WR who hasn't done anything in 3 seasons is not going to move the needle.

Yeah the comparison to the 2012 Patriots was odd. The Bills do not have a Welker or Gronk on offense. Nor do they have one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.

How are other GM's making deals?

And why are the Bills main rivals (Chiefs, Ravens) always drafting better etc?

They’re don’t, they objectively do not.

It makes so much sense, and I realllly don’t want it to happen, so obviously it will be announced in like 5-10 minutes while the Bills will trade for Cooper Kupp or something completely irrelevant.

See… called it down to the minute.

The Chiefs still need to play the Colts and division-leading Broncos 2x  and are 3rd in their division. I would think they would be better off trading for an O lineman, considering that Patty was hit 15 times by the Bills D

He is for this year, but he got a long extension before the season started.  The Jets have to eat all the bonus $.

They got the room...they gotta clean all that up now for the next seasons or two and rebuild.

Deebo's averaging 8.7 yards a catch this season. Those are horrible numbers.

That's why I want Ridley....averaging 18.1 yards per catch I believe.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to restructure Taron if they didn't already have a deal mostly in place.

I think everyone agrees, fans and analysts and color commentators alike, that the Bills have got to do something.

It's wild to me if Beane stays put.

I believe this gives them the space to know what they can or can't fit under the cap.  I wouldn't want to be doing it at the 11th hour while trying to nail down terms.

They haven’t put out a top-tier running back in a long time. They’ve had good individual running games from a couple of guys, but we don’t know what they can or cannot do with a guy who is a legitimate three down back in the prime of his career. Hopefully we’re not about to find out.

Nothing has happened

Would probably be easier for Schultz to mention who doesn't want out there.

lol Buffalo is going to sit out!!!!

I doubt Olave is on the table. Saints aren’t emptying their WR room. I’ve seen Crosby lol never gonna happen.

Come January if the Bills get knocked out we will all ask why in the heck the Bills didn’t go for it.
