Strong is done for the season if not his career. They know exactly what is going on but aren’t saying. My guess is after he tweaked his neck they did an MRI and it scared the sht out of them. Probably a multi-level disc issue and the only question is what’s the risk to his health if he continues to play whether or not surgery is currently indicated. Hairston is going to get some run sooner rather than later. Sean knows what’s up with Tre. Ogunjobi and Hoecht are 100% playing this Sunday, the subterfuge is laughable. I’d like to see a lot less Keon Coleman and a lot more passing out of heavier sets. Listening to a few pods this past week and I can’t believe how much they are forcing it to Coleman. It’s not friggin Stephon Diggs out there, it’s a disappointing 2nd round player that they are playing out of position and they keep trying to make it happen. In no universe should he have 50 more targets than the next targeted receiver on this team. Brady needs to wake the F up. The penalties need to stop. That’s a McD issue. Killing us pre-snap and on defense. I love how you portray this as factual info. Everything you said is either speculation or some of it is plain inaccurate. 1. Strong: Agree McD knows what's going on -- but its a major leap to say this could be career ending, you know nothing Jon Snow 2. Rapp: if Rapp isnt playing, its dude to injury. They arent benching him for Poyer, and forcing Rapp to be "limited". They'd just bench him and move on, there's likely a good chance Rapp has been dealing with some all season (hence his major drop off in play). 3. Max: sooner than later - id be surprised if he sees significant snaps until after KC. 4. Coleman: you either misheard or spinning nonsense. But Keon isnt out targeting next guy by 50, like you said. Maybe out snapping. But he has 35 targets, Shakir 34. He is being used more as a run blocker, hence higher snap count. 1 2 2 Quote

KOKBILLS Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago An update from Carolina practice... Bryce Young did resistance training on the side and threw some... He looked to be moving OK. He did not practice with the team today. Still a longshot but he's definitely not 100% out for Sunday... I know some Panthers fans think he's going to play... Quote

There is no way this is a WR screen. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NUtMrG3dWPw You are correct, but sure would like to see a lot more, especially to Cook. We seem to have no answer to blitz packages and taking advantage of vacated areas. Quote
TFBillsfan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago With Samuel yet again showing up on the injury report along with Palmer, there’s no way Beane can sit idle. That would be atrocious! We really gonna run with Coleman, Shakir, Moore and Shavers? Hopefully Hancock is taking over for Rapp and I would prefer he gets time over Poyer assuming Hancock is good to go. Quote

Even fully healthy, we need a WR. No telling if Kincaid or Samuel will be able to go either, or if they can, if they'll be healthy & effective. I'm trying to remind myself that you do need 2 parties to trade, and other teams might be holding out until closer to deadline to get a better deal. But these seem like desperate times in the WR corps. I don't think most of us would object to an overpay to get it done now. 1 Quote

stevestojan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If we don’t beat the wheels of the panthers after a bye, someone on the coaching staff needs to go. If we lose to the panthers, I’ll have to mute myself on here. 1 4 Quote

I’m always on board with getting more WR help for Josh but honestly Coleman, Shakir, Moore and Shavers is basically what we have when Samuel and Palmer are healthy because they’re not anything special either. Kincaid is the only one that needs to be healthy. And maybe this draft we actually go after WRs for once Quote

We may critique and criticize their play, but we have to remember, these are people too and have lives off the field. That said, hopefully, Rapp takes a few weeks to heal up and we can have someone step in and step up. 1 Quote
947 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't get Kincaid & Samuel possibly missing another game with a rib & oblique. They'll both have 3 weeks since they last saw contact. It's not like they have to throw a ball, it's most likely just pain management. Get a toradol shot, wear rib protection if needed, suit up and help dig this team out of the hole we've created. 1 Quote

Just about every athletic move involves your core- throwing, punching, running, jumping, etc so if your have an oblique injury your athleticism is compromised 1 Quote

Looks like he will try to practice and if able, may play this weekend. I should’ve clarified playing *healthy* His elusiveness is by far his top strength. I would actually rather face a hobbled Bryce Young than a 100% Andy Dalton that can complete the gimmes and hand it off to Rico Dowdle. Quote
