If he sticks with the elite part of our offense ( running the ball with cook. getting the ball down the seam to Kincaid and getting slants to Shakir, we should be just fine I think he’s got 1 more little run in him this season with this staff but I do mostly agree. He’s entering the IDGAF stage. I’m sure he can see that the roster is once again not good enough and I’m sure he probably wants to chop off McD’s hands to stop the clapping. Now he has to look at these goofy glasses. Like come on dude. Stop it. Edited yesterday at 05:25 PM by Governor 1 2 Quote

Of course, thats complete nonsense, along with you projecting your McDermott hate onto him, so I wouldnt worry too much about it. Quote

Is he losing interest/ fire? Is he tired of not being supported properly by the front office? All of this stuff could be grating on him. I'd be tired of the front office's bullshyt too. He does this pretty much every year. He’ll have a couple bad games then rebound. Last year it was Baltimore and Houston. 1 1 Quote
colin Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM has has a road stinker every year, last year it was houston, same thing too, in both games he was missing his best weapon (shakir then, kinkaid now, and then also palmer). im not worried about josh. what i'm po'd about tho, is that raisin bag brady just can't line up w our best match ups, cook and multi te's, and pass out of run sets or run play action to save his own life. he also went too much zone vs gap runs vs atl as well, like how hard is it to see what does and doesn't work? the d blows and is super hurt, but they seem to figure things out on a week to week basis (albeit with some just shockingly bad statistics), how can the OC not just go to strength 4 drives a game instead of 2? Blackbeard Posted yesterday at 05:35 PM Posted yesterday at 05:35 PM Another reason to have a 1 WR. It draws attention from the defense. GET THE DUDE A LEGIT WR BEANE!!! PS: i know it's a polarizing take, but should've kept Diggs and figured things out. Continuity is a thing ya know. 1 Quote

Apparently you can support Josh til the end of days but are unable to critique him by some people when he’s actually had a bad game. Not a lot was good, if any, against the Falcons but we did in fact lose a game because of Josh; not Josh alone but he played a significant part. 3 Quote
zow2 Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM It's a little worrisome when the Bills go through these games where the team sucks and Allen gets in his own head. We all assume they will right the ship and be rolling into the late season. But one of these seasons...what if they don't?? 1 Quote

I saw plenty on tape. I don’t have the all 22 so I can’t post any. You have the all 22 and didn’t see any I assume? you don’t have to compare anything to what penix was seeing. That has nothing to do with Josh playing a poor game. 1 Quote

When you have a mediocre receiving corps, not getting your second-best athlete involved in all ways is coaching malpractice. 1 3 Quote

No one has their A game all the time. It's just that such a stinker from Josh is rare. Also people have their narratives and do not want facts to get in the way. For example, the Bills receivers suck and Beane should be fired. It has to be the receivers were not open, not that Josh did not throw to the correct guy. Sojourner Posted yesterday at 05:49 PM Posted yesterday at 05:49 PM 47 minutes ago, 26TrapDraw said: beg to differ. I was at the pats game and he forced throws missed open receivers all night. Granted he played better against the Pats. But i saw some very uncharacteristic stuff from 17 these last 2 games. The picks were his fault but the rest of the offense as a whole didn't help him much. Kincaid had a great game against the pats but as a whole the offense is sputtering. In my humble opinion Josh seems off . Yup. Was there also. Certainly seemed that way. Most of why we’ve seen is there’s only ever one guy open when we are passing, if any at all. Throw the blitz, give him little to no time to make a decision and this is what we are seeing. Not putting them on the same level as the Lions because the skill players they have are substantially better but like them if you can take away the ground game and force pressure to put the QB in an immediate decision, it’s your best chance for success. The Pats game wasn’t as bad as the Falcons; from a whole team standpoint, but Josh’s play wasn’t dissimilar and I can only completely agree having watched it in person, on TV and the All-22 that something is indeed off. Like @Casey D said, Josh is too good not to rebound. We’ll get back to better play. Quote
Rich Stadium Original Posted yesterday at 05:49 PM Posted yesterday at 05:49 PM I think you can blame the offense's issues on a number of sources. Although he hasn't said much and overall the protection has been good this season, I think Allen has taken some pretty big hits already this year. In the Atlanta game, the Falcons blitzed on like 79% of drop backs..and ridiculously huge number. I blame the coaching staff for not coming up with enough plays to slow down the blitz rate (and/or players weren't getting open on hot reads) If you combined a quarterback who wasn't comfortable with the play selection because it wasn't producing results, yet led to a lot of free rushers and hits, it leads to a lot of bad QB decisions and throws. julian Posted yesterday at 05:50 PM Posted yesterday at 05:50 PM Stevie Wonder could see Allen played poorly, it’s just not something I’m willing to on or even near the top of the list of what’s going to hold this team back from a championship. It’s fair to point out and discuss. Quote
