Beane deserves so much criticism for the WR talent (or lack thereof) he's put around Josh the last few years. Instead he put his efforts into fixing a defense that has only gotten worse. 

Beane has built a team as if it’s still 2019. Bringing back garbage like Phillips and Poyer because they’re known commodities and he’s worried about being burned. 
 

 

The offense is built like Josh is still learning the ropes and has to rely on a run game.

The only reason...and I literally mean the ONLY reason...this team makes the playoffs is because Josh puts the team on his back and does things no other QB can do. 

 

You put a statistically mediocre QB on this team with everything else the same and we are a likely 6 win team on a yearly basis.
