The combination of the wrs and our scheme basically blows.  The resources put into keon, Samuels, planer and shakir have given us a group that is a plus matchup vs not one team we have faced, and we've faced some bad defenses.

On the contrary, our backs are almost never covered well, and our tight ends have been super productive with not so many targets for the year, are blocking like they never have, have produced in high leverage situations, and we are three deep at the position.  In addition (last night not withstanding) our run game has been a monster, our pass blocking gives Allen a tin of time in a regular basis, and we have the MVP and most talented QB alive.

My conclusion is that we should not have as our of a barely any experience guy at OC, who's only resume bullet prior to here was being near the worst in the NFL on a garbage team that got blow up, and maybe have a guy who can form a cohesive identity and actually stick with what works.

New England smoked us late because they figured out what was working and stuck with it, while we kept playing everyone eats and trotting out new formations and personnel groupings leading to penalties and inconsistency, did very little play action, and threw multiple passes to small slow wrs in the middle and to covered guys on the outside into the strength of the NE defense.

For all the mistakes we made, taking away 3 stupid screen or iso passes to wrs in the second half and targeting our tight ends would have produced another 7-10 points and we walk away the same way we walked away from the Miami and saints games.  We are just too dumb

I think Collinsworth stated it several times last night. The Bills O tells the defense what their going to do. Josh under center - run. Josh shotgun - pass. It's bad enough where we don't prepare specifically for a team each week, we now indicate to them what we will do on offense. But we'll watch some film to prepare for next week.

For some reason Coleman gets all the criticism (and by and large most of it is warranted) but Palmer gets away with his Invisible Man performances. We paid him $10M AAV to be our true outside separator and a legit top 3 option. Instead he's only been on the field for 48% of snaps which means he isn't earning a larger share. He's on pace for 41 catches, 592 yards, and 0 TDs. What happened to all those advanced analytics that told us he was an elite separator and route runner? If he doesn't turn it around soon he'll go down as another disappointing FA signing by Beane, at a position that we just refuse to throw more than the bare minimum amount of resources at.

The advanced metrics were junk

His production on the field is what any good evaluator should go by, and it wasn't even good enough to be a starting wideout...yet we paid him a fairly large contract.

I think we spent very poorly in free agency

I think people are overreacting a bit 🤣

Ya think? There is a lot of BBFS going on here. It's not just the loss, but who it was to and how well Maye played. The fear is that we are now entering a new 20-year Pats dynasty. And because we're Bills fans, we can now imagine a 4-13 record.

Coleman gets all the criticism because he’s being benched for poor behavior

I just don't understand. Allen has more time than ever and the receivers are running around during this time. No one can get open, are the CB's glued to them.

I live in New England and there were a lot of Patriot" fans" coming out of the woodwork today. They truly are insufferable. I hope the Saints put a beating on them Sunday.

I was told that Palmer and Moore were elite (or at least very good) separation guys. So, what's the deal here?  Is it scheme/Brady, Josh or can these guys really just not get open (which does appear to be the case with Keon)?

As for Gabe Davis, I had the same thought this morning when the YouTube algorithm sucked me into watching the 13 seconds game again.  I know the Chiefs defensive backfield was atrocious, but still it was hard not to think that we could use that version of Gabe Davis again.

Spending 25 to 30 million for an actual difference maker would be better than getting three jags for 10 each, imo.
