I think the initial idea was to let Jacksonville score but when Lawrence tripped and fell the plan changed

Or they could have, you know, stopped them and won the game. If the plan was to let them score, that was a terrible plan.

Yeah, I don't think that was a plan.  They already stopped them on the goal line earlier in the game.  A touchdown there was not a given.

That was certainly CJ’s plan…

Lions coming in with both CB’s being injured indefinitely.  Big time secondary issues there.

The real issue in that game is whether or not Taylor Swift will be attending. If she is, the Chiefs are a lock.

Saw her at Jax beach Saturday. Seriously.

Now the chiefs get to play the lions. The chiefs have no run game. I’d expect them to make a trade for a running back

Their backs averaged 6 yards a carry.   Not their fault Nagy only called 14 runs.

Back when they were winning, they were declared “one heck of a WR room” in this very thread. What a difference two hours makes.

When did I ever say this ?? This board isn’t one giant entity.

Kelce is probably around the 15th best TE. He’s on pace for like 900 yards, and can still get first downs.

Brown, Worthy and Juju are okay when they are on the field. I’d say without Rice they are bottom third, but not worst. With Rice they are probably middle of the league. Titans, Panthers, Browns, Giants without Nabers, even Bills are right there with them at the bottom.

But why not include Nabers? He’s on their roster. You can mix & match those bottom teams honestly. They all equally suck. I don’t think the Bills are at the bottom. Cook brings their value up tremendously. Kincaid is also developing into a true top 10 TE. WRs are lacking incredibly, but Shakir and Coleman are nice pieces for any offense.

The best part about that walk off TD is he actually double flopped to declare himself down, then a lightbulb went on in his head and he realized the play was still live. An all time ending in my book.

Finally a coach that take advantage of Trevor’s athleticism. Hes a big strong guy and ran a 4.6. Always perplexed me why Urban Meyer or Peterson never took advantage of this !

I don't care what anyone says, the KC vs. Jags game was the game of the year so far.............sorry, not sorry.

I mean… our opener was kind of cool too.

But considering all the times we’ve stayed up late to see the Chiefs ***** defeat from the jaws of victory only to have our hopes cruelly dashed … this felt so good.

All it was missing was Reid throwing a tablet at the end like Belichick used to do.
