Everyone saying Oliver would mean pressure...

Oliver is a good player who can dominate at times but we've been complaining about lack of pressure for years

Oliver is another weird one with fans…he’s one of the better pass rushing DTs in the league every year and lots of people hate him still 😂

Well, I wouldn’t say it sucks…The offense is just good- not great, though…And the defense is as mediocre as it gets…

So you are saying it kinda sucks.

You know what’s funny, I bet as you’re typing this, you’re thinking, “these guys really want to hear my take on the game.” 😂

No one cares

Nope I was thinking as Inread the thread “typical Bills fans over reacting” You guys are such gloom and boomers even telling you your team be fine gets some sort of angry response.. like how dare I say your Bills are still the class of the AFCE..

It was crap. They needed multiple gifts from the Pats on those late hits. The DPI was a horrible call and that INT should have ended the game. Couldn’t run the damn ball

The DPI where the Pats DB pushed Cook out of bounds?

I honestly don't even know how much say in the gameplan someone like Babich even has. I mean, doesn't the defense looks EXACTLY the same every year, regardless of who the DC is? What's the common denominator?

Actually, they looked better than this the year Sean called the defense after Frazier "stepped down"

Fire him for what? Not holding onto the ball?

For developing a ***** defense that hasn’t done anything in eight + years.

There’s just no elite talent besides Allen and Cook.

Hmm Kincaid outplayed both tonight (though it could be said we failed to utilise Cook effectively).

Kicking the field goal to tie the game with 2:20 on the clock was a horrendous coaching decision.

Best case scenario, you're tieing the game and putting it on the back of your defense to keep them out of Field Goal range, when they're going to be playing with all 4 downs to do it. When we're the walking wounded on Defense and they've proven all game they can't stop them. Anything less than a 3 and Out and it was over.

That was a scenario where you go for it. If you don't make it, you lose. But kicking the field goal was always a recipe for losing too. I wouldn't even call it coward ball because it didn't even put us ahead. Just plain ole' stupid.

Pats are a good team and they were game tonight. We still out-gained them and won the TOP battle. It's not like they pushed us around or dominated us. We lost this game because of penalties, turnovers and poor tackling.  I'm not that bothered by the loss. These are all things we can and should fix.

Oliver with a depleted secondary means nothing.  The D still did  much.  But you can only over come so much.

I don’t know. Frazier was much better than Babich.

I’m kinda glad we lost.

1. Hopefully the bills wake up

2. it reignites my dying hatred of the patriots

3. my expectations for the Super Bowl are now lowered which means I won’t be that mad when they lose to KC

On that maye pass as DJ was bringing him down, I actually don’t think maye knew Diggs was out there. He didn’t even look up— was just throwing it away.

I said the exact same thing.

Maye left a lot on the table tonight.  He was bailed out by our TOs and penalties.

Fortunate to face this D minus Ed and then Milano for a half - where they scored 17 points.

We were never going to win them all.  The team is too flawed for that and tonight's game showed a lot of the holes we have.  Everybody eats is fine until you need a guy to make a big play for you and we don't have that guy.  Was hoping to see Palmer take some of that onus, but he's been a bust of a signing.  Coleman is what he is.....a fine WR3 or WR4.  But he's not the alpha dog we need in the clutch.  Still can't get the passer on the ground when it matters.  Still can't stop the run.  Still can't cover on 3rd and long.  We have older, broken down players playing important snaps for us.  Rapp is terrible.  Got out coached on both sides of the ball.  And you can go on and on.

That said, we are far from healthy and complete.  Oliver not playing tonight was huge.  Quite honestly, if he's healthy and plays. he's probably enough of a difference maker to win this game.  Hoecht is going to be very important to us and we still haven't seen how we are going to use him.  Hairston was supposed to be the guy opposite Benford by this point in the season and who knows if he will even contribute at all this season.

The problem is, a lot of these issues can't be solved on the fly because we don't have any cap space.  We are in desperate need of a WR.  We need a better CB.  And that's the minimum we need.  Instead, we have to hope these young guys figure it out by the end of the season and get better all well hoping the other suspended and hurt guys come back and make a difference.  The loss is one thing, but trying to make it so we are peaking at the end of the season is another.

I doubt anyone expected undefeated season,  we did expect us to beat lesser teams at home.

Lesser teams are always the ones I worry about.

Show of hands.  Who thought the Bills were going undefeated?

They didn't play their best.  They lost.  Them's the breaks.

They haven't played their best in 60% of the games they've played.

That's concerning

Ok if that is considered a bad game by Allen I will take it,  his game tonight was still better than a lot of QBs I have been watching today, I just wish the team and coaching was strong enough to pick up the slack when he isn't carrying them

Yep. But to be fair, as an expansion team with only one draft in our team's existence that's pretty good. Is what I wish I could say, instead of saying we are terrible at drafting and with free agency.
