The clip doesn’t show it, but after this exchange, the defender says “but in a good way, in a good way”.

I’m sure there’s other opposing players who hate him “in a good way“ too.

Go JA! Go Bills!!

I would hate to defend Josh Allen. He is a freak human being with football powers.

He actually makes football 11 on 11.  Even with an empty set, Josh is still a threat in the running game.  That forces defenses to keep a spy on him and even that usually isn't enough.  What separates Josh from the rest of the mobile QBs is his raw size and power.  He has the speed to run by defenders, but also the power to run them over.  No other mobile QB has that ability.

You would think the Bills defense would be better against running QBs than they are considering how much they practice against Josh.

He's a 6'5" almost 240 pound man that can run through you, around you, over you or leap you. He may even be the world's first human/buffalo hybrid. Someone need to check his DNA. He can throw passes that make you look silly. And he will tell you all about it.

I'd hate him if I had to play him too. Could you imagine the alternate timeline where the Jets actually took him instead of Sam Darnold? We would hate the dude so much.

I feel like most defenders actually love Josh Allen he plays with a “football mentality.” He talks $**t and doesn’t back down. They all respect him. The only guy that doesn’t like him is Christian Wilkins and I think that’s because he’s in love with him.

I hate to be ‘ that guy’ but the jets could eff up anything. Any qb. He would be a massive colossal bust in New York like everyone else is when they are there.

I'll agree that Allen could have been ruined by the Jets. But I also think much of the reason for his success was his inner desire to improve and the work he did with Jordan Palmer. I don't think Palmer gets enough credit for Allen's progression.

Can you imagine the film study right now for our opponents DCs.  Do you go heavy to stop the run and leave Josh to pick apart your secondary or have Josh run all over you or do you go to cover 2 and allow the Bills heavy personnel packages open up holes in the D for the running backs or for play action passes to backs and TEs.   No wonder coaches and players "hate" Josh.

Pick your poison, and then lose.

I don’t think he would have succeeded as a jet given the many other problems they had. I also think the ny media would have affected him because he was from a small town in Fresno and went to Wyoming in college. He was never exposed to the big city media you’d get in nyc.

No way Allen runs the ball in practice without hearing from the boss.

I think you go heavy to stop the RBs and TEs. Run blitz often and really bang into the TEs and RBs on the way, in case it's a pass. We don't yet know how Brady will or won't adjust to a defense who shuts down the run, do we? Will he remain patient and deliberate (and stubborn) in imposing the run and short area passing game? Or will he identify and try to exploit the downfield matchups/openings presented by a defense schematically committed to taking away the run and dominating the LOS?

I’m sure Jalen Ramsay is still not that keen on Josh, what is he something like 0-6 after the trash comment? 🤣
