PatsFanNH Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Ok outsider perspective on your Bills. First from what I have seen the Bills O has been very efficient and IMO more importantly Allen hasn’t had to play hero ball. Your D isn’t giving up a ton of points ( outside of the Ravens game and yes I know the opposing teams record is 2-14 but you play who is scheduled, you don’t get to choose) I honestly think the Bills are the best team in the AFC this year, they SHOULD be the AFC rep in the SB. Am I missing something? I expect a good game Sunday because if playing the best team in the AFC doesn’t have my Pats focused then there is an issue. But I still expect a Bills win.. so why have I read so many worried posts lol 1 Quote
corta765 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Bills 33 Flying Elvis's 20 This is a classic new kid on the block wanting to make a point but the old guard isn't moving at this time type of game. New England's offense has been decent at points with Maye playing pretty well while their defense is more shaky as they grow. Their talent is not phenomenal and with Milton likely out or limited and Barmore also off injury that hurts them badly on defense. With that said while I think the Bills hold serve throughout and get out to a 14-0 lead early courtesy of a Cook TD run and Coleman TD, the Pats respond in the 2nd with a Diggs TD as Maye breaks contain on 3rd and goal and finds him scrambling. Bills get a FG after but the Pats respond with a FG at half to make it 17-10. Out of half the Pats get a FG as the defense again bends but doesn't break and the WNY faithful get nervous, but Josh and the offense go on a 7 min + drive and cap it with a Knox TD to make it 24-13. Maye gets picked off deep on the next drive by Benford and the offense converts it to a FG entering the 4th up 27-13. The Pats get a TD of their own and it is 27-20 with 10 to go in the 4th quarter, but the Bills offense again responds as Moore finally scores on one of those reverses with 5 mins to go to seal the win (Bills miss the XP). Allen 285 yds 2 TDs 23-29 Cook 123 yds 1 TD 18 rushes Coleman 98 yds 5 rec 1 Quote
Virgil Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Pats 31 Bills 16 The Pats score on the opening drive with a TD pass to Diggs, followed by a KO return fumble by Samuel, leading to another quick Pats TD. Bills make it close at half (17-10) but can’t double dip. Josh throws his first pick six, icing the game. 1 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago This is a game the Bills D needs to come out and take care of business early. In back to back home games they've allowed Miami and New Orleans to ram the ball down their throats in the first Qtr. I haven't seen the urgency. NE is feeling themselves a bit, can't let Maye get comfortable in the pocket. Bills 28 Pats 20 1 Quote

People are freaking because the defense is a work in progress and has been bad against the run and very bad with 3rd down defense even though statistically since the Ravens they have been fine. People are freaking because the offense while scoring 30+ is not throwing the ball around like the 07 Pats every week. People are freaking because Maye has looked pretty good and to the Pats credit they look improved and division games are a whole different ball game which is a far more fair point. In general basically because the Bills are not winning 40-3 every week with the offense throwing 400 yds, the defense allowing 10 yards total, etc.. the Bills are the worst team in the AFC even though their 4-0. lol I expect the Bills to win as they simply have more talent right now, a more well rounded roster right now, and Allen is the best player in the NFL. The Pats are going to make a game of it and at points make us nervous. Maye looks good with the potential to be really good and if they build this right over the next two years it will be a major problem for us even with Josh. But for right now the Bills at home should take care of business, come December in New England I think I have had that as a loss all year. 1 1 Quote

Because our CB1 been out and unlike Buffalo the Pats have little to no depth and he just returned last week. We have faced 3 really bad teams and 1 decent team (similar to the Bills I consider the Ravens a good team still) should be 3-1 (if I’m honest the Pats lost the Steelers game more than the Steelers won it if that makes sense.) I am terrified of your TE against the Pats LB I see Allen feasting on those matchups. like you I expect a good game, and pray Stevenson has superglue on his dang hands man is a fumble machine the last 2 years 1 1 Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Close game through 3 qtrs but the NE can’t stop Josh and the 3 TEs. Bills lead 21 -17 after 3. Buffalo scores early in the 4th to lead 28-17, but NE drives behind some penalties and missed tackles to get it to 28-24. Cook breaks a long run followed by a Shakir score with a 1:40 left to go up 35-24. Bishop gets an int late to seal the victory. Final score, Bills 35, Pats 24. 2 Quote

L Ron Burgundy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pats win 29 - 27. We kick a late fg to take the lead but then leave too much time on the clock. Bad defense loses us a game this time. 1 Quote
