On paper, they have the most talented roster in the NFL. On the field, however, they haven't lived up to that billing, especially on defense, and now they have a slew of injuries, including to their QB and to one of their DL stalwarts, Madubuike, which is season ending. It’s pretty wild that they were the favorites coming into the season. Two years ago, they had their best team ever and still couldn’t get out of the AFC. Not sure why anybody would put their money on them do get it done this season when they had the lowest odds…total sucker bet. 1 Quote

Lamar is amazing, but their team has many more parts than just him. “This” team, with Madabuike done for the year, is very different than the one we saw Week 1 1 2 Quote

That’s too big a hole for any team to climb out of. They would need to win 8 of their final 10 just to make it to 9-8. If you see their schedule running the table is very possible. 1 1 Quote

He’s 31 years old and in his best year has 12 TDS in 12 games. If the Ravens team is more than Lamar, now would be a good time to start showing it, because to this point their defense has been nearly non-existent and Henry has been a non-factor. Yeah, I like Rush. He’s a solid backup. But he’s been a backup for his entire career for a reason 1 Quote

Since 2020, the Ravens have gone 2-8 in the regular season against the Steelers. They have a hard time against Tomlin, who seems to have Lamar's number. That's a great stat, LP. Love it. Thank you. 1 Quote
wjag Posted Thursday at 03:33 PM Posted Thursday at 03:33 PM The vibe here in B'more is "once the Ravens get healthy" the schedule gets less daunting and they should be able to go on a 8-9 game run to make the playoffs. On face value, I have no issue with that, IF, they can get healthy. But healthy is relative as guys fall to injury all season long. So will they ever be 'healthy'???? Quote

colin Posted Thursday at 05:38 PM Posted Thursday at 05:38 PM they can afford like 3 or maybe 4 more losses all season, and down so much talent right now means if they drop 2 or their next 4 they are basically out. they are way better than their record IMO, but injuries are big. i'd say they make the playoffs at a 35% likelihood right now. Well, Madibuike isn’t getting healthy this year, and he was easily their defensive MVP, so no… Quote

HappyDays Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM Posted Thursday at 06:08 PM This is like the Lions from last year. Eventually you just don't have enough players to field a legit defense. 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago They might as well keep all their questionable players out and try to re-group next week. No chance they are beating any team, even the lowly Texans, with Lamar out plus like half of their starting defense. Quote
Process Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It's hilarious that the Texans are only -1.5 in this game Quote
eball Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago You know what? Eff ‘em. The Ravens are another entitled fan base who were handed a team who almost immediately became a Super Bowl contender and has won two trophies. They’ve never “suffered” and one can argue they’ve actually underperformed even when healthy. Of the AFC teams I dislike outside the division, the Ravens are at the top of the list (yes, even above KC). Quote

Probably so, but that sounds pretty similar to the thinking everyone had for last night’s game. 1 Quote
Governor Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Their season is over and I’m thrilled. There aren’t many teams they can beat. Teams have figured out how to spy Lamar in a new way and it’s confusing the hell out of him. Quote

If Henry stops fumbling, they will be alright, Quote
