Offense is fine, they need the help on defense

I get why fans think the offense could use a "go to" WR. It seems like at times the offense can't get it going and needs a "bailout" playmaker. But the issues on this team are more so on the defensive side of things. If this team could add a piece at the trade deadline it would be better to do so at DT/LB/S.

Because his quarterback is a running back lol

I like the everybody eats thing, but its not a disqualifier from having a boundary receiver who can get you a play when you absolutely have to have it. Our WRs are a joke at this point. Just bite the bullet. How many times do we need to hand out garbage *** half-measure contracts to guys who are other teams cast offs.

Josh is a force multiplier, its a felony to not use it

Josh is a much better player when he can go wherever he wants as opposed to worrying about giving a guy targets

The record number points we put up last year speaks to that. The 30 plus a game this year speaks to that.

We are also a run first team.  How would AJ feel about that?  Because his presence is not enough for us to become a run and shoot team

There have been rumblings about Brown before in Philly, but this may gain some traction this time. Apparently he's not too happy with the direction of the offense at this time and has posted some cryptic tweet/tweets about it. The Eagles could trade him now without too much concern cap-wise. He's 28 and probably has 3 good years in him at least. What say you TBD? First, do you think he would put us over the top if he does become available? And then, what would you be willing to part with for him?

More pressing needs on defense.

So he would go from one situation where he doesn't believe he is being targeted as much as he'd like to a situation where he would be targeted even less?

If hes open he gets the rock lol thats what happens when you have a QB vs a RB lining up under center.

We need someone on the outside who can get open consistently.

Frankly IDGAF if hes happy. I want a ring. That's infinitely harder to do with no outside or vertical threat/ability.

Can't wrap my head around this board thinking our offense will all the sudden suck if we throw in a guy that can get open on a first read lol

Got a little news for ya. There is 0% chance of you getting a Super Bowl Ring this season.

And I can't wrap my head around fans who are so ignorant to the fact that the offense is the best in the NFL.   That they have these crazy delusions that they just need to get another WR to be an even better team, ignoring the fact that the Bills rank first in many different metrics and that the way the offense is operating is exactly the way they intended it to be.   This is exactly how championship offenses are built and they don't want to return to the pass happy days of 2020.   Those days are over, so you can just continue to keep crying into the wind and on the message board to anyone who will hear you.

Meanwhile, the Bills continue to be #1 on offense with as balanced and efficient of an attack as you'll see.

Given the fact that the Bills have 2 guys that will be coming off of suspension and that there will be a player that could be lost due to it weather they get put on the PS or just have to be released if Beane could pull off some kind of a trade for one of those players then why not rather than just out & out lose a decent player .

I mean - to the title of this thread:  Why would the Eagles trade their #1 WR to a team they have a far better than 0% chance of facing in the super bowl?  I mean, they still have to play the Bills this year.

Maybe they move him in the offseason, but i'd imagine there's a number of teams they wouldn't trade him to - Buffalo, KC, Baltimore, GB, Detroit being high among those teams.

why?  if we go after a higher tier WR it needs to be someone without that personality type

I don't know why, but something about being fast and able to catch a football turns guys into entitled babies. It doesn't seem to happen to guys who run fast after being handed a football.

RBs get the ball a ton while a WR can be open all day long and not see any action unless the QB gets him involved.
