Heels20X6 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Guys, this is just McD’s version of complimentary football. Bills score a TD, then they let the other team score a TD. Complimentary! 3
tigerthelion Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) Get Keon going this drive. Let's go! Edited September 28 by tigerthelion 1

There’s just no way they give up scores so easily against Miami and this team otherwise. yet they have been in the backfield and pressuring most plays for some reason.
Let's Go Buffalo Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Well, Saints had a quick answer....Let's go down and match!
RobbRiddick Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Imagine if we get into a shootout with the Saints. I'll give the defense the benefit of the doubt and assume they'll tighten up as the game goes on

If you're playing the NFL, you should already be able to tackle. It's on the player. I don't totally agree. If you ask players to constantly play fast to make the penetration play, you're not encouraging them to break down and play solid fundamentals. The scheme here matters. 1

LarryMadman Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Just now, DCofNC said: Man, this D is a problem, they can’t get off the field on 3rd down and then simply can’t tackle. I don’t understand how the middle of the field is CONSISTENTLY wide open and nobody can get home on the QB. At this point, I don’t know where to point the finger, but I’d be nervous about my job if I were Babbich. The more things change the more they stay the same. It will always be McDermotts defense it's just different guys with the "D" header calling McDermotrs plays during the game. 1

Repeatedly targeting undersized players who can't make open-field tackles leads to missed tackles. 2

It’s the coaching Sean McDermott has more top five takeaway defenses than any coach in NFL history over his first 8 seasons When you have Josh Allen take the ball away means more than numbers between the twenties.. and we usually always finish top 10 in scoring defense 2
GunnerBill Posted September 28 Posted September 28 That is another play where Cook gets 5 or 6 yards when 90% of the backs in football are stopped for no gain. His ability to stop his feet, keep his balance and change direction is ELITE 1 2 1
Billsfanatic8989 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Another poster said McD is conservative on first drives because he wants to see how they will respond to the offense. Is this something many HC's do? 1
HappyDays Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Offense makes it look so easy. Unfortunately the defense does the same. Same story every year.
VW82 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Cook effortlessly making multiple guys miss on a run-of-the-mill run up the middle.
TwoFlocksofFury Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Josh throwing for 500 yards today while Rattler is going to run for 300. 1
