DonnyMesko22 Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 Seems like the Bills should be able to give the fans who spend sooooo much money to be there a way to have an earbud in one ear to listen to a ‘live’ radio call. There’s just so much that you miss - especially injury updates. I do enjoy the atmosphere and crowd noise but it would be so incredibly better if I could have an AirPod in one ear with game insights like you get from announcers on the radio or tv. 3 Quote

I love the energy of being at the games live, but it is a better viewing experience at home. That could be improved, if the NFL cared about the people in the seats. 1 Quote

Which does not make sense because iPads and tablets are allowed. Those could hurt it you threw them. Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium Gate Entry and Permitted Items Small transistor radios only purpose are to play sound publicly. Cell phones and tablets have 10000000000 uses that don't necessarily interfere with the people around you. Transistor radios do not. You could likely get away with those AM/FM headphones. They used to be way more common in stadium. I am way less concerned with the PbP than I am with replays. I keep my FUBO app playing the game when I go in, so if anything is close I can just pull it out of my pocket and the broadcast is already showing me. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=am%2Ffm+headphones&hvadid=174212295266&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9007315&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=4485767461479763924--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=4485767461479763924&hvtargid=kwd-37530186&hydadcr=24659_9648993&mcid=d3099a1056bc34a8b3632cc5d7b77bf6&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_4o39kpgzg1_e Quote

Pretty sure that’s not allowed today though 🤣 I had a small handheld radio when I went to games in the 80s so I heard van 1 Quote

I would be shocked if security gave a shirt if you had a pocket sized thing with no speaker and only earbuds. Quote

nuklz2594 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 WGR is on audacity. Most gameday audio is placed out Quote
Son of a K-Gun Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Games are also on SiriusXM if the audacy stream is unavailable...though I can barely even send a text from the stadium during the game. 1 Quote
Wacka Posted September 26 Posted September 26 The guys behind us (seasons) in the Kelly years were allowed to bring a boom box in. My mom was in the group of us and she bought them a pack of batteries as a gift at the 51-3 game. Quote

Only way to listen was on regular radio. I was told small transistor radios are no longer allowed because of the batteries could be thrown. Pretty much SOL. If there’s a will, there’s a way … just ask Mr. ***** Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted September 27 Posted September 27 They used to have a channel in the stadium that was synced up to the game, like 1600 on your AM dial. Quote

He was not a big football fan, but watched some games on TV. He complained about not being able to follow the game because no play-by-play. I always took a walkman with me so I gave it to him to listen to Van Miller. He had it on the whole game and several games after that. Every game he announced "The lights are on at Rich Stadium." A staple of Van Miller's broadcast! (I hope I don't have to explain what a walkman is to a few here) I miss Van Miller. During the old days of television blackouts, I learned football by visualizing his broadcasts. 1 1 2 Quote

You could always try bringing one of those emergency radios that you wind up to get power. I think I still have one of those somewhere. Quote
Buffalo03 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I always thought it would have been interesting to hear the Bills radio broadcast announce the game live over the speakers at the stadium 1 Quote

mikemac2001 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Maybe look for an AM/Fm wrist watch I am sure that can sneak buy security and it also doesn’t have a removable battery. Not sure if they will use Bluetooth or have aux options but could work Quote
