I don’t even know that Tre is playing that bad overall now that I’m rewatching some of the games again  haha. In the moment though I can see why he stands out in a bad way at times.

 

if last night turns into a trend against even mediocre receivers I’d be concerned but waddle is pretty tough to man up.  I do think Hairston when he’s up to speed will be an improvement but Tre has been serviceable enough where idk if we need to do anything drastic in the short term

Call me crazy but if you're paying a guy $80M over 4 years, I expect sacks and not just pressures. 

 

I like Rousseau and I think he's a good fit for the scheme especially in the run game but when your 80 million dollar man has as many tackles as Ray Davis in a game, I will be disappointed

I'm going to guess Tua averaging a completion of -0.5 yards well into quarter 3 had something to do with this?  He finished at 1.4 yards for the entire game on average distance for his completions.

Apparently after film review he played a lot better than what people think.  This is the third opinion I have read now from people who reviewed the film post game.

Just heard he’s been dealing with a slight knee injury suffered against the Ravens. Believed to have knocked knees with Henry. Don’t recall seeing him on any injury reports.

Apparently Groot is also fighting through a bone bruise due to knee to knee hit with Henry in game 1.  I think the Bills were more beat up in that game than we know. Tough way to start the season.  Hopefully the “mini bye” helps.

Isn’t it mandatory to report injuries ? If true the bills would be talked to by the nfl or fined. You can’t hide injuries.

Groot has not been playing poor

 

 

There have been pressures. There have been great run defense/setting the edge. Sometimes it is obvious some people don't understand what they are watching. Sacks will come, pressures have been there, its been 3 weeks. Relax. And yes I too want to see him with double digit sacks this season.

Sure not poor. But not impactful in getting the qb off his spot or to the ground. Yet. I’m more focusing on this knee bruise conspiracy 
 

these pressure stats mean nothing to me. All that matters is a pressure that results in a incompletion / ideally from an off target throw or a throw away or a sack or run oob by a teammate bc of the pressure

BTW, I caught one of those cheap Voit footballs from our former NFL punter/Gym teacher in middle school and got a bone bruise on the base of my left thumb. The pain when you bumped that thing could have made me pass out, and it lasted forever. A retired pediatric neuroradiologist once told me on a scale of 1-10, a bone bruise is like a 5, and a break starts about a 6. It’s a very real and very painful thing.

Can attest to this...was on crutches in 8th grade for 2 weeks due to a bone bruise when I was playing baseball.

 

Was on 2nd base, batter hits a single, I race around 3rd to score, batter dropped the bat right on home plate, umpire never thought to move the bat, I had my head turned looking to see if I needed to slide and wasn't paying attention, stepped on the plate except I stepped right on the barrel of the bat. 

 

Finished the game limping badly (luckily it was the last inning so I just had to play in the field for 3 outs and it never got hit to me). After game took my shoe off and my foot swelled up like a balloon. 

 

Couldn't put any weight on it, thought I broke my foot...went to doctor the next day and X-rays showed nothing, doctor said it was a bad bone bruise...literally couldn't touch my foot to the ground for over a week...one of the most painful things I have ever had happen to me.
