BillsFan619 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Three of the next four games are against our AFC East foes. With all of them losing yesterday, if we take care of business against each of them like we should, we’ll have a great early season lead over the division. Also, in week four the Chiefs and Ravens play each other so one of those teams, except for a tie, are assured a second loss by the end of week four. After an amazing comeback victory over the Ravens, it’s time to take care of business and stay ahead of the pack. The Jets media was even shock by our awesome victory. Woohoo! Go Bills! ColoradoBills Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I thinking Josh will get over his MetLife Stadium Blues next Sunday and the D will look better too. 3 2 Quote
eball Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Another test for the run D, but Allen & Co. should put up enough to get the job done. 3 Quote
sven233 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 In a lot of ways, we are playing "Baltimore Light" this week. Very mobile QB that can hurt you with his legs. WRs that can get open. RBs that can break one. And a defense with some really good talent! Now, they are not nearly as good as Baltimore is at any of these positions hence the "Light" tag, but as a division foe, that always can always keep games closer than they should be at times. And, with a new coaching staff and only 1 game of tape out there, it may take a bit to figure out what they are doing on both sides of the ball. Honestly, I am shocked they scored as much as they did in week 1, but I am also surprised how many points they gave up as well. So, I think they are still a bit of an unknown quantity at this point. The fact is, though, we are a superior team in terms of talent and we have Josh Allen. Providing Brady doesn't force us to go back to our east/west dink and dunk offense with half of our throws at or behind the LOS and lets Allen do what he does best slinging the rock down the field, we should be able to handle business. Our defense has to be more fundamentally sound and even though they have a mobile QB, Fields is not in the same stratosphere of QB as Jackson is and we should be able to contain him. This should be a double digit win, but after the way our defense played against Baltimore, until they prove and show that they are better this year, I will never say a win, especially against a division opponent, is going to be easy. 14 3 1 Quote
Gregg Posted September 9 Posted September 9 This is the Jets Super Bowl ever since #17 has been the Bills QB. The games at MetLife are usually tough. 5 out of the last 6 games there have been one score games. The Bills will probably win but I expect them to be in the same spot this Sunday that the Steelers were in last Sunday. Fighting like crazy to leave MetLife with a win. My pick Sabres 24 Islanders 21 in another close one in the Meadowlands. 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Jets always play us tough and Allen struggles against them. Time to put Baltimoe in the rear view mirror amd get ready to bring our A game again. 3 5 Quote
harryS Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I'd be happy to scrape by with a 1-pt win, and I think the line of Jets +6.5 is a gift for gamblers. The Bills have to return to Earth off that high of coming back against the Ravens to focus on a Jets team that might be well-coached for once this season and desperately wants to avoid going 0-2. The Jets have seemingly built an offense that Fields could succeed in and it just so happens to be a power running game like the Ravens with Fields and Hall tag-teaming for big yardage. They're not as good as the Ravens, but I also don't think we can improve that much in a span of a few days. Our back 7 will get better over the course of the season but I don't think they'll be up to par yet for this game. That means superman Josh will have to carry us again against a defense and road environment that he has often struggled with. Hopefully Josh can do it and deliver the Jets another heartbreak loss at home. 27-24 Bills. I do think we start to win by margin beginning in Week 3, but this Week 2 game is going to be a very hard-fought game. One that we could lose. 2 3 Quote

DaVinci Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Come out throwing. Throw the ball to set up the run. 5 Quote
Gregg Posted September 9 Posted September 9 3 minutes ago, DaVinci said: Come out throwing. Throw the ball to set up the run. Old man Rodgers torched them for 4 TDs. With the exception of Sauce their secondary was weak. I took a look at the Jets boards, and they expect Allen to have a huge game against them. At the same time, they said the Jets should just give the ball to Breece along with Fields running and that should help them stay in the game against the Bills run D which surprises nobody. Everyone saw how bad the Bills run defense was. 3 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Tough game. Our D has to step up and play tough again. No Lamar this time... Fields is good but nowhere near Lamar. We can contain him. I think we will win but it will be a tough game. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I expect a sloppy game early. Bills coming off a big win against a conference rival at home with a big comeback. Jets coming off Glenn debut at home against Rodgers losing late. Good news is the Jets are very similar to the Ravens offensively just less talented so hopefully we can hold them down points wise Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I have a gut feeling that Aaron Glenn is a good hire and that the Jets will be tough. 2 5 Quote
Rockinon Posted September 9 Posted September 9 A lot of teams have a big game and then a let down immediately after. Truth is, the Ravens were whooping the Bill's for 3qtrs, though. Coaches and players are in the lab cooking up ways to fix what they know are problems. I think the Bills win big for a change. The Jets may have a competent new coach, but he's still new and they are going to have some growing pains. 1 Quote
