Hes the mold of what they want out of their ends. Collapse pocket / power / good against the run. Hes an above average starter i think right now. I think he is more a plus starter with the ability to make a difference over certain stretches of the game. We saw it in his limited preseason snaps as well as last night. He will play above average a lot but then take over a possession or two a game and stop a drive. I would take that production. Can't wait to see him play a statue of a QB like Tua. 2 Quote

IMO, Bosa looked like he can still be an elite difference maker. His jump off the snap was noticeable He had 2-3 plays that are sacks against most other QB's. Also single handedly wrecked a Ravens drive by the Forced Fumble in backfield, then containing Lamar for no gain He wasn't Doing His Job in the first half. Not setting the edge and containing, which is crucial to McD's defense. Hopefully he improves. 1 Quote

You can blame McD for coddling the boys... and protecting from injury..its a two-edge sword...they do need the reps..esp the tackling and angles needed to do properly... Rapp like to hit..but not be hit Quote
buffaloaggie Posted Monday at 06:58 PM Posted Monday at 06:58 PM He's definitely better than the alternative of Epenesa. Epenesa looked lost. I'm sure Bosa will get a few subtle reminders about his responsibilities when reviewing the game this week. He probably did make Oliver's job easier. 2 Quote

That could be due to age, or he may never have been that quick after an initial burst. Disappointing it took time for Bosa to set the edge, but no doubt had several key plays in crunch time. Curious how he plays versus the Jets and Dolphins. Looks slow in the pursuit of who, Lamar Jackson? 2 3 Quote
NickelCity Posted Monday at 07:03 PM Posted Monday at 07:03 PM I liked Bosa's game. Be healthy in the playoffs. Quote

If Oliver can deliver what he did last night consistently, we have our Chris Jones per se, which is what we are desperately missing. Thats a big if But If true That is how Bills win on Defense. Did Bosa just rush the RT tackle ? I did not watch him closely. Just noticed when he made a few mistakes early Quote
Mat68 Posted Monday at 07:06 PM Posted Monday at 07:06 PM Bosa, Ed and Rousseau played very well. Felt like if they didnt make the play no one did. Quote
YattaOkasan Posted Monday at 07:07 PM Posted Monday at 07:07 PM I was encouraged by Javon Solomon getting snaps in this game. Hoping he can make Epensa be expendable at the trade deadline (both had 16 snaps total). 1 Quote
QLBillsFan Posted Monday at 07:10 PM Posted Monday at 07:10 PM Ed was great. Bosa stayed with it and had a better second half. Rousseau thought was a non factor. Overall the Ravens are simply a better roster. LJ is a unique talent but the Bills need better coaching and play from all. Quote
Bigvinny Posted Monday at 07:10 PM Posted Monday at 07:10 PM Bosa knew what he did wrong and owned it after the game, he will get better, they don't play the Ravens every week. Although They have to be ready for Fields and Breece Hall. 2 Quote
Mister Defense Posted Monday at 07:38 PM Posted Monday at 07:38 PM Thought this would be easy to find, but not so How many snaps did Bosa play against the Ravens? it seemed he was much more than a pass rusher, that he played most downs. But the announcers were so bad at talking about most of the players and stats, I have no idea if that is true. And if could tell me how to best find this kind of info quickly let me know, please! He played a lot. And he is, and always has been, much more than just a pass rusher. He weighs 280lbs. 280! He's just as good setting the edge against the run (when he's not biting inside, haha) 1 1 Quote
Danger Mouse Posted Monday at 07:44 PM Posted Monday at 07:44 PM Physically he reminded me a lot of his brother. And I like his brother A LOT 1st quarter aside, I thought he looked really good. Gave their RT a lot of trouble second half. It was refreshing to see after Miller. Quote

It just means now that its go-time, their is no room for any feet dragging. All-in from here out. They'll be fine 1 Quote

I have not seen a huge amount of him, but would never have guessed that, not even close. He will get better and better as he plays in this defense, it seems. He got better as the game progressed. Hope he plays a lot of snaps this year, will be a very good thing for this defense. 1 Quote
Virgil Posted Monday at 07:53 PM Posted Monday at 07:53 PM It's so hard to evaluate anyone against this type of offense. From what I could tell though, we are in for a good season from this D-Line (minus AJ). Bosa, Groot, and definitely Oliver showed quite a few flashes where they just dominated. Even the rookies had some great showings. I expect this defense to be true disrupters Quote
