They have the worst safety play in the NFL. Two traffic cones would have been more use out there tonight. 6 Quote
davefan66 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I had hope to win until after the half. Was at the game and they just seemed flat. Did not expect this! And how do I prefer my crow? Deep fried with hot sauce! Quote

I just hope I live long enough to be able to tell grandchildren that I watched Josh Allen play football. I get the frustration and I’m not talking about you, but the negativity is just overwhelming on the game day thread. I made a comment how the Ravens might’ve messed up by scoring too quickly and leaving Allen too much time. Immediately, I get piled on I guess for being too optimistic? It’s common knowledge to combat elite QBs by keeping them off the field via time consuming drives/ TOP battle. Sure enough that’s exactly what happened and Buffalo came back w/ quick scores of their own. They even had enough time to kneel down and run the clock out. What do you reasonably expect safeties to do when the front 7 gets their butt kicked like happened the first 3 quarters? Quote

Victory Formation Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Coleman I will eat crow on, McDermott however I will not. His D’s are too soft, he would have a 0.000000% chance of wining a Super Bowl if his QB was not named Josh Allen. Period. 1 Quote

Yeah he blasted fans leaving with 10 minutes to go.. yes all things had to go Bills way.. but Josh is worth staying the full 60.. Quote
Mikie2times Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I haven’t seen the Bills do something like that in I don’t know how long. It gives me hope that this could be the year. It will take performances and resilience like that to navigate the playoffs. We aren’t going to win the Super Bowl without what is probably multiple comebacks. I’m still stunned. It was a very special night and very special game. 1 1 1 Quote
wjag Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I saw a shot of Bosa on the field after the game. He looked stunned. Clearly he had never experienced a JA17 game before. 1 Quote

I just hope the constant negativity some people live in on this board can at least enjoy this win. I don't love to be miserable but, I confess, I thought we'd lose to the Ravens by double-digits. When the score was 40-25, I was momentarily miserable but not surprised at all. The game was unfolding pretty much the way I had thought it would. Which made the comeback all the more unexpected and delicious. When Prater nailed the game-winning FG, I cheered and laughed so much at the improbability of it all that I had tears in my eyes. My husky had never seen me behave like this before and started jumping around excitedly and doing weird husky vocalizations that would have made a great TikTok if I were into that sort of thing. Someone asked a friend of mine the difference between a crow and a raven. It seems a crow has 7 pinion feathers while a raven has 8. So the difference between a crow and a raven is a matter of a pinion. (note to ornithologists: It's A Joke) 1 4 Quote
