Bills had a 0.9% chance of winning the game with 4:48 left in the 4th down 40-25.

Dear Joe Brady. You have an all time great at QB. Let him pass the ball and good things will happen. The screen play is a great thing to have in your pocket to keep a defense honest. But one of the best arms in NFL history is on your team. Use it.

Regards,

Bills Mafia

He’s clueless at times.

Just gonna keep repeating this.

Lamar Jackson

Derrick Henry

Mark Andrews

Ronnie Staley

Tyler Lindenbaum

Future HOF players

Zay Flowers

Rashod Bateman

like 2 other lineman

Pro Bowl/All Pro caliber players

Why is there an expectation that the best offense we’ve probably seen in about 4-5 years, one that’s gonna set pantheon level records, wouldn’t do numbers against a Bills defense that has been low first round picks for like 6 years now?

It's fair to criticize the run defense but holy ***** Derrick Henry was a man on a mission tonight and I do not think there is a QB/RB combo that's more of a run threat in the league. Like, historically good.

Not exactly breaking any news here but the defense remains a massive concern. I don't know that our coaches can fix it. A lot of players had poor fundamentals and some of the play calls in critical moments were head scratching.

Yep. I agree. I don't know that the coaching on defense helped.... but the biggest problem there is we have 4 or 5 guys starting out there tonight who are not NFL starting talents IMO. The technique and fundamentals all night were a mess from certain guys.

The 3 big almost touchdown plays (Cook, Coleman and Hawes) where the Bills ended up scoring a TD anyway - that took necessary time that impacted the end of the game.  If the game had been tied and add'l time, Bills might have gone for a TD.  So many things in the game determined how it ended.

But, Bills defense is still very suspect.  You can't really fix just getting beat on the line of scrimmage.
You can't  just expect to get turnovers and your QB to get 250 yards in the 4th qtr. to win games.

Yea while a lot of our flaws were on show tonight I believe that is the most talented team in the league we just played (either them or the Eagles) and the majority of other teams will not be good enough to exploit the weaknesses.

I think they will have to add to the secondary at some point. But we will see.

I'm hoping Hancock emerges as a Safety candidate.  It would only make sense as all our best DB's are late round picks.

They made enough plays. But there's stuff to clean up. It's week one, there's always stuff to clean up, especially week one

There’s absolutely stuff to clean up. Like first half fundamentals were a complete joke.

I didn’t catch what happened on the 2nd Henry TD though, but their fundamentals got better in the 2nd

im ok when greatness just does stupid good things. Like that D-Hop catch was just silly.  But the losing containing, bad run fits…that can’t happen.

And I think Cole made some youthful mistakes as well. He’ll be a lot better by game game 8-10

coleman did  his part.

Yeah after I posted it I realized he deserved one as well 100 plus, TD, and was a huge part of that comeback.

4 game balls it is

Athletically, he's the greatest qb I've ever seen in the NFL.

Anything that any other QB that has ever played QB in the NFL can do, Allen can also do. But then he can do things nobody else can do. Like he's a genetically engineered, lab-grown, CRISPR-edited QB1 unit.
