Ok glad it's not just me thinking this episode was insanely boring. Had a fantasy draft last night so didn't watch it live but DVR'd it and tried watching it this morning but had to stop it halfway because I was so bored.  Wasn't sure if it was that boring or it just seemed that way because I'm a bit hungover this morning

I'll go back and finish it at some point but couldn't do an hour of that this morning lol

Given the comments since episode 1, I’ve been wondering if the majority of viewers have watched many or any at all of the previous 24 seasons. This season is exactly like every other imo. The only discernible difference I see is McD not allowing the cameras in his office.

Lot of F-bombs today...even Josh dropped a few.....not surprising, and no big deal........just weird to hear these guys swear I guess.

I guarantee that they have some producer in their ear telling them to do it to sound more "authentic." When Joe Brady especially does it, it seems completely forced and unnatural.

I couldn't help myself.  I can quite nail who Beane reminds me of here its either Deniro's Jimmy Burke or Cesar Romero's Joker!

This GIF is extremely meme-friendly and I'll be using it throughout the season. Cheers.

The show's OK, but they should change the name of the show from Hard Knocks to Light Taps.

One of the main producers is from Buffalo, so might explain why there aren't as many rough edges.

Funny how all the Hard Knocks darlings got cut and they barely acknowledge Tyrell Shavers.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Bills brass had something to do with this.  If the rumors are true that part of their agreement with HBO was that they couldn't film cuts, it would make sense that they would try to showcase guys that are practice squad material to give them a boost.

After episode 1, there's been virtually no coverage or starters.

Drinking game - take a shot every time a coach says "I appreciate you".

The filming of the cuts, including the visit by “the turk” who informs them, will be seen next week. I imagine Hamler and Ciarlo will be focused on along with Shavers getting the good news.

It is nothing like the others (especially the earlier ones). In most of them there is at least some drama, some conflict/stress/negative topics. It is supposed to be, at least in part, a reality show but there was no "reality". Nothing of any interest at all. Bored the pants off me and, as others have said, if I wasn't a Bills fan I would have switched off after th first 15 minutes of the first episode.

For those who have never watched a season, I highly recommend the Browns one (2018) for the ultimate "No matter how bad we are, we are not that bad!" experience

"What takes some QBs two months to correct, Allen can do in 2 to 3 reps." That speaks volumes!!

With all the accolades, he really doesn't get the credit he deserves for being extremely smart and coachable.

I thought there were only 20 seasons of the show, including this one?
