K-9 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Given the comments since episode 1, I’ve been wondering if the majority of viewers have watched many or any at all of the previous 24 seasons. This season is exactly like every other imo. The only discernible difference I see is McD not allowing the cameras in his office. 3 Quote

I guarantee that they have some producer in their ear telling them to do it to sound more "authentic." When Joe Brady especially does it, it seems completely forced and unnatural. 1 Quote

I can quite nail who Beane reminds me of here its either Deniro's Jimmy Burke or Cesar Romero's Joker! "AND THEN I TOLD THEM TO STOP WHINING THE WR ROOM WAS FINE" This GIF is extremely meme-friendly and I'll be using it throughout the season. Cheers. 1 7 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) The show's OK, but they should change the name of the show from Hard Knocks to Light Taps. One of the main producers is from Buffalo, so might explain why there aren't as many rough edges. Edited August 27 by Fleezoid 1 1 Quote

It wouldn't surprise me if the Bills brass had something to do with this. If the rumors are true that part of their agreement with HBO was that they couldn't film cuts, it would make sense that they would try to showcase guys that are practice squad material to give them a boost. After episode 1, there's been virtually no coverage or starters. 42 minutes ago, T.E. said: I guarantee that they have some producer in their ear telling them to do it to sound more "authentic." The filming of the cuts, including the visit by “the turk” who informs them, will be seen next week. I imagine Hamler and Ciarlo will be focused on along with Shavers getting the good news. 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Actually saw James Cook smiling, might be the biggest shocker all episodes 1 1 1 Quote

In most of them there is at least some drama, some conflict/stress/negative topics. It is supposed to be, at least in part, a reality show but there was no "reality". Nothing of any interest at all. Bored the pants off me and, as others have said, if I wasn't a Bills fan I would have switched off after th first 15 minutes of the first episode. For those who have never watched a season, I highly recommend the Browns one (2018) for the ultimate "No matter how bad we are, we are not that bad!" experience Edited August 27 by Gunvald's Husse Quote

Rocky Landing Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I wonder whose decision it's been to not allow a camera anywhere near Keon? 1 Quote
