Snappysnackcakes Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Yuk. Great guy and now I have to hope he’s pancaked every down. 1 1 Quote
Mango Posted August 21 Posted August 21 (edited) At $4M cap number I would have maybe considered that for a 6th and a swap of another pick. He has no dead cap money in 26 of the Bills decided to move on. But we are right against the cap at the moment, and as much as it would be a risk, that money is likely better spent on Simmons (if they were to pick between the two). Thrivefourfive Posted August 21 Posted August 21 What’s the plenty for playing over the cap? I’m sure the bank account doesn’t default on a check that’s $1 more than the cap number, right?.. Let’s test this thing and just start paying guys as much as we can, and see where it goes with the NFL. Championship! 1 Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted August 21 Posted August 21 At least he’s enjoyed a long, relatively successful career before joining the Jests, because they clearly would have ruined him. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 21 Posted August 21 And the Vikings are eating a lot of his salary! Quote
mushypeaches Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I for one, liked Horrible Harry. But never enough to want the Bills to throw the coin at him for a free agent contract like the Vikings did 6 Quote

thenorthremembers Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Fantastic team guy, average player. Makes sense for the Vikings to move on, not exactly a NT in a 3-4. 1 1 Quote

Great guy. Good player. I think many WNY Bills fans want the ‘blue collar’ white guy to succeed. Not saying that’s wrong. Just saying. 1 minute ago, Don Otreply said: so true, lol, He, wasn’t that good when he was here that’s why we let him walk in the first place, that and what good is a NT with no penis anyway…, Dirty Harry was good here. The Vikings threw him a lot of cash to sign. Can’t hate on that. 2 2 1 Quote

Just saying. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it all. People are comfortable with whom they identify. Goes beyond race, too, sometimes. Fred Jackson was a GREAT player, but he was truly beloved by Bills fans because he was the ultimate underdog playing for an underdog city. Probably wouldn't have had the same emotional attachment if he was a Cowboy. 2 2 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 It’s funny because this past off season I brought up the idea of bringing Phillips back as we needed a 1tech. The Vikings added a lot of DTs and it looked like Phillips was the odd man out but the Vikings had also just signed him to an extension. I think it’s a good move for both teams Quote
