They did a great job bring out how lovable this team is.

Pegula seems like the ditzy Grandpa; whenever he’s on camera I wonder how he became a billionaire. Must have the Midas touch.

And I’ve never seen so many typos in one thread. Everyone must have been playing the drinking game!

So will no wind in the new stadium take away a key advantage in the playoffs?

I don't get why so many are fixated on weather-related advantages. It's a myth.

Other than the sunny/shady side of the field differences for outdoor arenas, both teams have to play in the same conditions.

When the Bills played the indoor-stadium Colts in 3 feet of snow a few years ago, they barely won, saved only by a spectacular Shady McCoy run.

In the playoffs at home against the Bengals,  a snow covered field didn't help the Bills to a win.

I don't doubt severe cold can be a bit of a shock to a Miami team in late December, but I don't see wind, or lack of, being an advantage to either team.

It’s a psychological advantage - enough to make McDaniel wear that stupid t-shirt with pedal pushers. 🤣

If anything, wind closes the advantage Josh has over other passers.  In an extreme example, in 90 mph winds, neither QB would be able to pass the ball.  Josh would have no passing advantage over the opposing QB in that scenario.  Any wind starts to close the gap between Josh’s arm strength and the opposing QB.

feel like Bills heavily restricted their access

And I'm fine with that, i like that they didn't let them in the locker room or meetings

I don't, it's stupid. Access is the entire point. McD doesn't like accountability when it comes to himself. Only the players and assistant coaches.

In general you are correct, but wind is the condition that I think does make a difference because windy conditions add too much variability to passes and kicks.  Remove the wind, you remove that variability, which means the better team (QB) should prevail.  That benefits Buffalo as long as Allen is at the helm.

He’s a special person.  Really happy that he’s on this team and will be mentoring Hairston while also playing a key role on our defense.

Not a player or person I can think of on this team that deserves a Lombardi more.

Perhaps it’s different on other platforms for the app, but I’ve never been able to watch a show on the app when it was first showing on the HBO cable networks. Indeed, while I was watching it at 9 on Spectrum cable, my brother had to wait until that airing was over until he could watch it on the HBOMAX app. I wonder if others around here who couldn’t watch it on the app initially were able to at 10pm.

I have the Max app on my tv. I had to search for the HBO icon and click on it and then was able to watch immediately.

there are definitely cameras in the meeting rooms. I’m sure we will see footage from meetings in future episodes. This was a pretty standard first episode of hard knocks.

They are at training camp, so I’m not sure about locker room footage but they usually have cameras in there too.

The access HBO is given is the same for every team. Buffalo isn’t preventing anything.

I thought it was a little boring, and I'm glad it was. I don't want to see anything that could be a distraction from the preparation for the season. That being said, I doubt Hard Knocks will keep the rest of the episodes as vanilla.

And if the opposing team has a superior kicker, they'd have the advantage. In both cases I believe any advantage is minimal. For me, not enough to prefer a windy stadium when it's cold if I'm sitting in the stands.

I’m now confused.  Are you saying you want a windy stadium?

I saw my wife on hard knocks. Anyone else see any cameo appearances?

A guy at my gym and my buddy's brother in law and kid have made cameo appearances so far that I'm aware of

Why can't I find it. I paid for HBO max

HBO Max has always streamed episodes of all series AFTER the original airs on HBO.

Max has never streamed first showings of any series' episodes at the same time as HBO.

Once the episode is complete on HBO it is uploaded to Max.
