Unfortunately, no.  The issue is in the cylinder itself :(   I'd like to pull the motor out and dig more, but I don't have an engine lift.

You can rent them. I had to do that several times to move around heavy woodworking machines.

You made that? That's amazing. I can barely cut a pine board in a straight line!

Bass guitar, plastic modeling and cats.  My nerd game is strong.

Me too. My main bass is a Hohner B2B Steinberger copy. Also have a Yamaha RBX 4 strings, and a Fender Jazz 5 string. What type of bass(es) do you have?

Very well done on the music.   Outside of the talent, its incredible how far recording has come.

Thanks! And yes it’s insane, I record at home on a laptop. Its great to have that become so affordable/convenient.

Yep.
Just like anything else, you get a little better each time you practice and make things!

I sent you a challenge. (I'm bikopuccinni.) I made it three days, but I usually move within a few hours. No worries if that's still too slow for you.

That is impressive, it pops. Has kind of a ‘50’s flair. Do you have pics of other projects?

That’s awesome! We check our neighbors when they are away and I was surprised to find how committed he is to the shop in his basement. That is no light undertaking to create that kind of stuff.

It’s funny— my dad has very few hobbies. After he retired, he just became bored, and I have tried to get him to pick something up.

on the other hand, I have a ridiculous and endless amount of hobbies.

and when I get a new hobby, I sort of dive into it fully and obsessively. Some drop off for a bit, but then I come back to in spurts.

The two most recent hobbies I have added over the past year:

1) cooking authentic Chinese food and trying to perfect deep dish pizza

2) weight lifting (now at the gym 5-6 days per week)

But if I made a list now, I think I probably have 20 solid ongoing hobbies.

Yeah it can be a fun hobby.

Funny story: That laundry chute you see in the third picture above: I quickly became tired of carrying clothes back up the stairs, so I built a reverse-sucking machine that allows us to not only drop the clothes down when when they're dirty, but also suck them back up to the 2nd story when they're clean.

I made a video of this process if anyone wants to see it.

That would be really cool to see.
