Reading the responses, I’m pretty sure it’s being treated as a “what do you hope happens in 2025?” thread rather than a bold prediction thread.

Bill's 20-0!!

Week 17 Bills and Eagles will have everything wrapped up. Both teams will be playing 2nd String, Bills with the better depth pulls out a close one.

Week 18 Jets starters are no match the Bills bench.

Finishing with a regular season of 17-0

Bold Enough?

Go Bills!!!

Haha well you asked for it so here we go

NFL Related:

-Broncos win the division at 12-5 including a TNF win late season in KC to swing the crown to them. They make a run to the AFC title game

-The Ravens win the division and finish as the 3 seed before losing again in the divisional round against Denver. Harbuagh is fired after the season as enough is enough after years of not breaking through to the Super Bowl.

-The Saints go 1-16 as the cap crunch is real, their QB situation and lack of talent catches up hard even in the NFC South to secure the 1st overall pick

-The Raiders are in a playoff spot week 18 but lose at home to finish 9-8 and the Patriots take their place

-The Eagles win the NFC East becoming the first back to back division champs in over twenty years

-The Bucs miss the playoffs at 9-8 due to the defense fading this year and the Falcons take the crown reversing a few years of the opposite occurring

-The Packers miss the playoffs at 10-7 as the NFC is top heavy and lose the WC 7 spot to Minnesota on the final day of the season on SNF football

-The Dolphins again falter late and fade to 5-10 culminating in McDaniel being fired and Grier being fired after the season. Tua is cut from his contract and Miami starts a rebuild.

Bills Related:

-Josh finishes 2nd in the MVP but is 1st team all pro as he is stellar again and the WR is more then enough

-Josh Palmer goes for 1100 yards to lead the team in receiving yards and a pro bowl nod (7 TDs for good measure)

-Coleman goes for 900 yds and 8 TDs to lead the team in receiving TDs

-Cook doesn't break 1000 yards rushing as Ray Davis steps in his place a bit to take yardage, Cook still goes though for 1300 yards combined.

-The defense moves into the top 10 for sacks as they go from 39 sacks to 49 sacks. Groot as he hits his first double digit sack year with 11. Bosa nets 7 but is very effective in his role.

-Bills finally get the 1 seed at 13-4 despite losing to KC at home in the regular season (post game after that loss is pure meltdown locally). They slay the demons finally with a 30-21 win over KC before beating DEN at home in the AFC title and then beating the Rams in a thrilling 28-24 SB. The city burns down in celebration but somehow regenerates the next day with Labatt Blue silos at ever corner. The entire WNY region takes the week off to party and Dunkirk Don speaks at the title celebration and reveals himself to be Bruce Smith.

NFL Player Related:

-Tyreek Hill regression is real and he does not get past 1000 yds receiving

-Travis Hunter is real and goes for 1100 yards while getting 3 INTs as a CB

-Cam Ward is better then people realize getting 30 combine TDs on a sportier Titans team then people expect

-Jaylen Daniels of fine but not MVP worthy either... confusing everyone on how to analyze him

-Bryce Young's improvement was a mirage and while not atrocious he is just a guy and is benched by the last four games

-Jayden Higgins is the sleeper rookie WR who dominates going for 1200 yds receiving with Tank Dell not playing and in quietly solid situation

-Jared Goff leads the league in turnovers as a new coordinator means some early struggles before he rights the ship

-Christian Wilkins does not kiss anyone during a game

Around the NFL -

- The Saints, Jets and Browns all tank the season for Arch Manning, the Jets win.

- Arch Manning opts out of the draft and returns to Texas. (has 2 seasons remaining)

- A 70 yard FG will be made (went with this last year too)

- The Chiefs won't win a game in September.

Bills -

- Epenesa leads the team with 10 sacks.

- Coleman leads the team in TD receptions

- Josh will have a game with a rushing TD, a passing TD and a receiving TD, so will Cook.

- Bills win the Super Bowl.

1) Steelers.  Have a disastrous losing season and we can end the eternal debate about Mike Tomlin being a great coach.  Bonus, we  are finally rid of A Rodgers.

2) Chiefs dont win their division

3) Pete Carrol is a flop in Vegas.

Bills:

1) Super Bowl, may not win but get there

2) On defense, at all three levels the Bills have old and injured players, Bosa, Milano, and White.  Two out of the three will be all pros.

3) Coleman emerges as a legit #1 WR.

🚨From the desk of the reigning 2024 Predictions Champ 🙌🤩😝:

NFL:

1) Joe Burrow will miss at least 4 games due to injury (Bungals fail to adequately protect him yet again);

2) The Lions regress and fail to win their division, barely making a competitive wild card field with 10 wins;

3) Miami shocks the world and finish second to the Bills in the East with 9 wins despite their flashy offseason woes;

4) Brock Bowers will lead the league in both yards and TDs for TEs.

Bills:

1) Curtis Samuel is truly unveiled as the switchblade he was meant to be, and will end the season with more catches and scores than anyone not named Josh Palmer in the WR Corps;

2) Joey Bosa plays in at least 14 games, racking up a team leading sack total of not less than 12.5 (that’s 4.5 better than Rousseau last year);

3) Josh Allen will hurdle no more than 2x in the regular season, one in the KC game, and once against Miami;

4) Takeaway Tre returns to lead the Bills in picks this year.

Posted

Bills:

  • Keon Coleman takes that next step we’re all hoping for, but still finishes fourth in receptions behind Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, and Elijah Moore, who leads the team in receptions.
  • Tre White makes the pro bowl, and comeback player of the year. (Declines the prowl for obvious reasons.)
  • KJ Hamler is elevated at least twice from the PS, and gets at least one TD.

AFCE:

  • Patriots get a wild card.
  • Dolphins and Jets finish below 500.
  • Dolphins fire Grier, or McDaniel before the end of the regular season. (Whichever one they don’t fire, gets fired after the regular season.)

Rest of league:

  • Bo Nix finishes top ten in MVP voting.
  • Aaron Rodgers, and Mike Thomlinson get into a shouting match during a game.
  • Cowboys miss the playoffs, and Dak Prescott calls it quits.

It's time to show your hand folks! As ever 4 from the Bills and 4 from the rest of the NFL. And try to make them at least somewhat BOLD.

Last year we had a ton of "X team will win the division" and unless you are predicting a multiple (i.e. forecasting multiple division winners) OR you are projecting like a worst to first scenario I'm not going to accept a division winner prediction as bold.

As ever, I'll do a bit of a review on who did the best after the season. Here's mine:

Rest of NFL

- The Atlanta Falcons to lead the league in sacks;

- The Kansas City Chiefs to lead the league in offense and Patrick Mahomes to throw at least 40 touchdown passes;

- The San Francisco 49ers to miss the playoffs again and at least one of Kyle Shanahan or John Lynch to be fired;

- The Indianapolis Colts to end up the #1 overall pick leading to an interesting draft declaration decision for a certain Mr Manning...... 👀

Bills

- Spencer Brown to be voted as at least a second team all-pro;

- Josh Allen to complete over 70% of his passes in the regular season for the first time in his career;

- Matt Milano to beat his previous career high of 3.5 sacks in a season;

- The Bills to earn the #1 seed and host the AFC Championship game at home.

Flame away and add your own!

I am only challenging on one prediction: Giants lead the league in sacks. Too much talent.

Atlanta leading it is very bold. They have not been top 20 since 2017 and have been bottom 2 in three of the last four seasons. But I just think they finally addressed some talent off the edge and schematically with Ulbrich arriving as DC there should be opportunities.

Agree on paper the Giants are one of the favourites for that title.

And I agree that predicting the Falcons will lead in sacks is very bold. I think they’ll still be bottom half of the league.

This is great! I 100% agree with you on the 9ers and would love to see the Manning 2.0 show in Indy. Also every single bills prediction is on point. I’ll do one later but had to give you props.

I'll go a mix of super bold and just predictions

Non Bills:

- Falcons win the NFC

- Mike McDaniel doesn't make it to November (stays warm tho)

- Patriots win 11 games

- The Cardinals and Dolphins are in the market for a new starting QB heading into next season

Bills:

- TJ Sanders is a very legit DROY candidate

- Josh Allen throws a career high touchdown passes

- The last game at the current highmark stadium is the AFC championship

- Bills blow out the Falcons in the Super Bowl

Fun -

Rest of NFL

  1. Chiefs will finish no higher than 3 seed and wont reach the AFCCG snapping their streak of 7 straight.
  2. Bengas will miss the playoffs again.
  3. McDaniels is first HC fired after Miami misses the playoffs again.
  4. Minnesota misses the playoffs after going 13-3 last year

Bills

  1. Bills lead the AFC in sacks
  2. Keon and Shakir combine for 2000+ yards
  3. Joey Bosa stays healthy and leads Bills in sacks
  4. Bills make and WIN the Super Bowl.
Posted

ATL:

Cam Ward led Titans steal at least a WC spot

Jags back to a top 2 pick with Lawrence unfortunately faltering

Pats finish second in the AFCE and just barely miss the postseason

Bengals and Ravens make the playoffs, Steelers miss after a miserable miserable 8-8-1 season

Bills:

3 leading WRs in yardage are Shakir, Palmer and Samuel

Cook has a slow start and signs extension in October

Tre White doesn’t let Hairston take the job all season

Bills 2 seed to the Ravens 1 seed

I like these. Think all of them have a good shot. McDaniels being the first one probably means he is gone during the season, which I'm not sure on, but him being fired and Miami missing the playoffs I definitely think likely.

Atlanta's defense I did not realize how much they have invested in young pash rushers. It is bold but it is one of the better bold picks logically I have seen

The Miami piece I think a lot of people see a team that is going to implode and it is not being talked enough
