I think that last one with the Kincaid commentary is a little irresponsible.  There are a lot of ways for a knee to be injured.  I don't see any indication that this Alex Brasky character knows anything beyond 1.) Kincaid isn't practicing due to a knee injury, and 2.) He's wearing a wrap on the left knee.  Yeah, this could be related to his injury last year, but it's also very likely that it's unrelated.

Benford man, i love his signature "call to God" celebration and we beat KC by 10+ if he doesn't have that injury. Chiefs picked on Elam all night. Pretty crazy that McDuffie went 2 picks earlier, and he was likely our guy and that pick solely cost us an AFC title and potentially a SB

If our 2nd year guys - Keon, Bishop, Carter take a jump , this team will be the best team of the Allen era

Then this is on the training staff, again. WTH is with this org they can't find a damn good training staff?

The Bills were very good on injuries from 2019-2020 and in 2021 the only major injury they had was Tre White. So they have had a stretch of years where injuries weren't too bad. 2022 was the season from hell in many ways. 2023 and 2024 seemed like an "average" amount of injuries. Teams get injuries it happens in football especially so you can't expect the team to not have them even if you have the best training staff.

I get it, but it seems to be too much lately.

I thought 2023/24 were middle of the pack years injury wise. I was hoping that in 2024 with a younger roster the team would be less injury prone but they got banged up a lot, not many major injuries but a many "will be out 2-3 week" type dings. I was hoping for positive regression to 2020 levels for this season.

If you take a look around the league, you’ll see many soft tissue issues this early in training camps. And teams are super cautious about not overworking players who haven’t stressed their bodies to this level in months. The Bills are not unique in this regard.

Sounds like a lot more run work today which makes sense with pads on for the first time.

I hold out a lot of hope for Deon Walker evolving into that BIG 1DT next to Oliver so that Ed can be that penetrating DT he was in college.

It may take some time for Deon to develop a NFL body however I thought he was a real steal in the 4th round.

Just got home from Camp today…

a couple overall observations-

all the wr’s struggled in 1 on 1 drills with the defense allowed to be physical today. Coleman faired the best but it was still tough out there.

In 11 on 11, the d line and safeties absolutely stuffed the run. Also Cook is our only back that can beat people to the edge.

Also, in 11 on 11, Tre White faired acquitted himself really well and Hairston faired did football things well too ( was better then he faired performed in 1:1

The problem is that he's also dumber than a chicken.

The sooner Jackson Hawes takes his job, the better off we'll be, imo.

Personally, I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Me neither. But I would really like to see what happens when the two of them are in the game at the same time.

Not looking for an argument but Ty Johnson can beat anyone to the edge too.  We literally watched him do it during the season last year.

Is Kincaid's knee a new one or remaining injury from the end of last year?

Also, Bass...pelvis soreness...that's a new one for me.

But the pads are on today. I think this is where Max starts to really shine. I hope to see a lot of positive notes about Sanders and the rest of our new DL.

The way McD described it sounded much more like an everyday kind of common bump/bruise type thing from just playing and hitting the ground during a rep yesterday.  Didn't come across as part of a lingering issue or holdover from the issues he had last year.  So wasn't too concerning, at least in description, but obviously something worth monitoring.

Fair, but a big reason we never get past KC is our injury list vs theirs.
