One thing of every year at this time, probably  the first couple of years the camp moved to Rochester, they'd include some photos of the players arriving and they'd always have one pic showing an offensive lineman carrying in one of these early day HD TV's  that was about thew same size and weight of old tube TV's. Forget what they called that style but the player would be carrying in around a 32 inch model and for him the weight was probably like me carrying in my lunch bag.

Whatever this means..

TJ Sanders has all the ability to be what we hoped Ed Oliver would be consistently.  And I know he’s undersized for 1T, but he is STOUT against the run… at least in the SEC, while showing monster pass rush ability.

I hate these stupid vague tweets. Just tell us what’s going on

Ok so Day 1 of Camp the Offense sucks and we are doomed?  Just trying to get a feel here.

We had a good run.   Time to tank for Arch.

If the offense or defense has a rough practice or preseason game you can say “offense (or defense) always starts slower”. They’re interchangeable.

I wonder if he’s taking reps next to Ed?

Are they prohibited from talking about alignments/scheme explicitly?

I think they’re prohibited from describing specific schemes/plays, but you think we could get a little more than an 👀

Dan Fetes could think Sanders simply has a nice ass, for all we know.

It's day one. I'm not the least bit surprised that McDermott and co are giving the trusted and tenured veteran the starters' reps early and making Hairston earn it.

It would be downright bizarre to me if Hairston automatically got inserted with the 1s to start camp.

On the other hand Bishop got the start ahead of Hamlin so that's counter to the "make the young guys earn it" approach.

7 on 7 red zone defense looking good vs MVP. First three well covered and incomplete. Completed TD to Moore.

Another breakup by defense.

swing pass TD to cook

Cook seems to be full participant and well engaged.

I appreciate all of the reporting you and others are providing...

Ah yes, the overreacting needle has moved again:

its time to go from over-reacting to summer moves/speculation

to overreacting to the first day of training camp.

to overreacting to the pre-season

to overreacting to the cut downs then the overreacting to the first game of the season

to overreacting to the first 4 games of the season

then the season

then the playoffs

then the loss to the chiefs

then FA

then the draft

then summer moves/speculation

such is the Bills fan circle of copium

... but yes, the overanalyzing, overreacting, and cementing of biased opinions is tiresome to say the least.

Feel like we’ve kinda lost the plot in here.

There’s more posts complaining about speculation and over-reaction than posts ACTUALLY speculating and over-reacting.

Also, even if that wasn’t the case, isn’t following along with tweets and reports from camp, and following the rising and falling of players’ performances, part of the fun of being a fan?

If you don’t care about what happens in camp or think it’s a waste of time

to comment or speculate or whatever, I fear you’ve lost your love of the game. And I personally hope you find it. It’s just for fun and entertainment.

He also said this is the first time in a few years he’s in the room with the big guys, because he played OLB for the last few seasons. I’m probably wrong but could playing in space contributed to his injuries?

In my case at least you're barking up the wrong tree.

What I'm specifically addressing is the obvious and ridiculously premature formation of narratives. Bias confirmation with almost no basis.

I didn't quote posts for examples because it's not my intention to call out specific individuals. And I love commentary but could do without the premature judgements and proclamations. And don't kid yourself... they're out there.

The last word is yours, if you'd like.

Who do we think is going to be the training camp/preseason darling that is almost certain to not make the cut? Frank Gore Jr. and Shavers seem to fit the bill, but they were frontrunners for that role last year. Anyone else we should be paying more than reasonable attention to?

Curious what others think? Would you let the PED cheats practice based on their depth chart spot or do you play them last with the roster bottom feeders? You need to see what they can do in camp but you also need to see who is going to take their two roster spots for the first 6 weeks.

Release them. Beaner made a fubar
