Who do we think is going to be the training camp/preseason darling that is almost certain to not make the cut? Frank Gore Jr. and Shavers seem to fit the bill, but they were frontrunners for that role last year. Anyone else we should be paying more than reasonable attention to?

I honestly believe Shavers has a shot at making the 53 depending on how many they keep at the position.

They would be smart to hang into Gore Jr. Second year in the system. If Cook is doing a hold in...seems like those guys often aren't in football shape and end up with soft tissue injury that lasts the bulk of the season.

My guess would be TE Davidson, maybe one or two of the OL and almost assured to have one guy that the Hard Knox people focus on, becomes likable and then heads to the Turk Town.

this is a text I just received from Joe Marino. WTF?!?

What's up, Bills Mafia!? According to the NFL transaction wire, the Bills made a few roster moves.

- TE Dawson Knox was placed on the Non-Football Injury list

- OT Spencer Brown and C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger were placed on the PUP list.

That's all we know for now. We will hear from Sean McDermott tomorrow morning ahead of camp's first practice, which is scheduled for 9:45 AM ET. Will share any additional updates! None of this is "ideal", but we also don't know anything about the severity of any situation.

My biggest concern is Knox since the Bills added a TE earlier today that has some NFL experience. Stay tuned. GO BILLS!

Wait, what TE did the Bills add today? I don't see anything about it.

My antennas were raised when they tried out three TE's yesterday.  I was hoping it was Zach Davidson that would go to PUP.  Also, Joe Marino personally texted you or is it like a group text thing?

Elijah Moore

Agree.

My son mentioned him recently and suggested to keep an eye on him here in Buffalo.

Can Brady make best use of this guy ?

Our O line is now at the level , IMHO , Bills should be able to execute more wrinkles and looks this year.

The answer to dominance this year is the pass catchers and making sure Josh sees them.

Like to see some deeper and successful passing this year by getting out ahead and over the top. Bills need that threat. Lets hope this WR , TEs group et al are the strength of the offense

I’m thinking that he makes the 53.

I might like to think he will be a contributor and worthwhile. He does have the potential , a few of us maybe think he reaches for it this year for us !

Maybe. maybe not

Dawson was in the photos of camp arrivals...sleeve on leg/maybe a knee if I had to guess.

Edit: I wouldn't take this as bad news, he seemed his normal upbeat self.  Hopefully a minor issue.  He had some sort of small sleeve on his knee in minicamp IIRC

I was going to say that too. I really hope Moore ends up impressing and playing to his full potential but I think he is already on the inside, but with a potential upset from one of the lesser knowns. I would say this is the top 5 with the ( ) as potential 6 if we hold that many or could possibly knock someone out.

Coleman

Samuel

Shakir

Palmer

Moore

(Shenault, Hamler, Prather, Shavers)

I think those top 5 WR are going to impress more than some think.

Group text. Gotta pay for it but I think he’s the best Bills podcaster and he stays attuned.

Curious what others think? Would you let the PED cheats practice based on their depth chart spot or do you play them last with the roster bottom feeders? You need to see what they can do in camp but you also need to see who is going to take their two roster spots for the first 6 weeks.

Of course you let them practice, Ethan, peds are an everyday occurrence in the NFL, they just screwed up their micro dosing routine, you can guarantee that the medical/fitness and training crew will make sure they do fuh k up again,

I can’t stand that Marino continues to mispronounce Ogunjobi. He actually goes back and forth between a correct pronunciation and his own, it’s strange.

Correctly pronouncing his name doesn't matter; he will play fewer than eight games for the Bills.

This brings up a few questions.  He doesnt have an injury history so why do you think hell start now.  Also you dont see us in the playoffs or you think he has a season ending injury just after thanksgiving?

Those were the days I don't EVER want to EVER return.   The 2025 Bills have first world problems compared to those sorry Bills squads.
