In the 50’s, those dad bods would have been seen as just “fat”. I read a stat recently that only roughly around 20% of Americans are considered to be in healthy physical shape. 1 Quote

I think the dad bod is the funniest thing ever Because he still is really athletic and 6'2 225 with a little belly Most dads who are like yeah it's my dad Bod.. like 5'11 295 lb thinking they look like mahomes lol 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I never understand athletes that get paid millions in their prime that I am in better shape than at age 50. Boggles my mind. Quote

After his career is over he’ll probably be fat as fawk, but as of now he’s still that dude. He is a classic tubby ex-player once he retires. Dude is primed for a charles barkley look 2 Quote

I guarantee they are both freaking absolute units under that layer(s) of fat. Theres probably something to staying healthy with the few extra pounds on their frame. You cant exactly add 15-20 clean pounds (muscle) to their frames in an off-season or even a career. Can a guy who never stepped in a gym before get some "quick" (1-2years) gains like that? Sure... but these guys are physical specimen. Hypothesis: Jacked + 15-20lbs Fat > Just Jacked and 15-20 lbs lighter These guys are so heavily outweighed by every guy on the DL and 50%+ of LB's. Force = Mass x Acceleration , seems to sort of tell the story here They're athletes in a contact sport and not fitness models. As long as a few extra lbs isn't slowing them down or dragging on their mobility, I think its a good thing to have a bit of extra padding for resilience, recovery, and absorbing hits. Now if a defensive back, wideout, or a linebacker looked like that, I'd say thats cause for concern. I can't remember the last time I saw a pudgy cornerback. 1 Quote

My healthier then anyone I know at her age neighbor across the street just passed away at 72. Did all the yard maintenance and jogged twice a day. Seemed to be in perfect health. Made everyone in the neighborhood feel lazy. This sweet lady was our inspiration to get it done. Haven't heard why yet. Her husband relied on her for everything after multiple back surgeries. Poor guy just lost his grandson not long ago, a Highway Patrol Officer killed in the line of duty. Josh gets a belly on him from time to time. He is out of shape for a world class athlete which is what he is supposed to be. He was out of shape last year and it showed in his play. 1 1 Quote

It should also be noted that, while incredibly clutch - in part due to his guys/coaches stepping up around him, he’s very clearly been QB4, at most, behind Allen, Jackson and Burrow in recent years. With all due respect, this is such loser talk and cope from a team that always loses to him when it matter. I bet the same conversations were being held about Brady being only the 7 best QB when his team was going to the SB every year. Then when you look back at it, you realize how dumb is to say anyone is better than the QB who goes to the SB every year and he will be remembered as one of the greatest qb ever. That team is on complete cruise control every year and go to the SB every year. But yeah, he’s not the best qb. and being jacked is the worst thing you can be as a qb, pitcher, or a shooter. There are exercises that get you popcorn muscles that absolutely destroy your throwing arm. 18 minutes ago, FLFan said: Yeah, he does not have a “Dad bod”. They lost 2 games with one of the worst receiving groups in the league and went to the SB!!! “loser talk” to point out that Mahomes has had a better, more clutch team with better coaches around him than Josh Allen? Lets take a look… 13 Seconds Dawkins got his ish pushed by Jones on a would be go-ahead TD to Shakir in a game we then missed the game tying FG with minutes left. Kincaid drops a pass you for d**n sure know that Kelce, even at his age, catches. So, not sure how it’s loser talk to state weve had a generationally elite postseason QB that keeps losing to Mahomes because he has had better teams, less choking and better coaching. Tell me which part of this you disagree with and what equates to loser talk. I don’t know anything I stated that’s even controversial. Edited 4 hours ago by SCBills Quote
