I think of what Claypool is saying is accurate, it would be foolish for the Bills not to at least extend him a TC invite/tryout.

If he got a long with Josh, the other guys in the WR room and elsewhere on the team he could fit right back in. There's definitely room to improve at the WR spot and all indications last year was that his attitude issues were not showing and he was doing well.

At an invite just to see where she's at, let your docs check him out...why the heck not?

Sorry my post should have a full stop after "combo."

He has pure size/speed. But the other things you need for football talent are sadly lacking.

He’s not just a combine athlete. He might not be refined, but that is what a good head on his shoulders could do (if he ever has that).

Meh. I disagree. I think he is just an athlete not a football player.

I thought he had an excellent chance to make this roster last year before the injury and possibly even be a legitimate contributor on the field.

If he's healthy and still motivated, the Bills should absolutely bring him back in here to compete and should do so soon, imo.

Eh.....maybe but he ate up massive amounts of credibility by being a massive head case in the prior 2 NFL seasons.

It was surprising the Bills gave him a shot.   I don't think people like McBeane understand self-defeating personality disorders like Claypool clearly has because you rarely see people with issues like that reach the NFL.

Being extraordinarily big and fast got him a long way but once he started getting criticized for his behavior on the field he decided he was going to withhold commitment to the game and that f#cked his career but good.

probably so

Invite everyone who writes a flattering tweet to training camp. What could go wrong?

Oh great! Now Miss Nolan’s third grade English students are going to be taking up roster spots following tremendous success on their class project.

He has only failed because of personal issues. Everybody agrees his physical talent is that of a #1 WR, he’s unquestionably more physically talented than anybody on our roster at WR. So if he suddenly saw the light and this isn’t just offseason BS to get signed, we would be complete fools to

not bring him back. More likely than not, it’s not 100% accurate from the Bills perceptive. Let’s see if somebody tries to sign him.

There are countless physically gifted players just like him who wash out of the league for one reason or another. They are always given a bunch of chances and almost never actually turn it around and perform on the field.
