Just saw this.

 

Game is available on NFL+…. Just watched a part of the first quarter, Bills backed up near the goal line. Tashard Choice running the ball and Leinart tossing an INT.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget that performance. He looked like he didn’t care or that he’d prepared or studied a playbook. Really embarrassed for him and completely unprofessional.

Yep. Too soon. The injury thing takes him out of the out-and-out bust category.

Heath Shuler was one of those total busts too.

Trubisky wasn't a Leinart level bust. Not even close. He started four years in Chicago, made the playoffs as a starter, had a winning record and a positive TD-INT ratio and it wasn't like he had a stellar roster around him on offense. Right Josh and Zach do qualify though I think.

Leinert was probably the biggest surprise bust for me. I realize some analysts saw a limited upside, but I was sure he'd have at least a decent NFL career. Does it really come down to lack of intensity/will to succeed?
