Mitch Morse was a guest host today, and Poyer was a guest.

Some of his comments:

- Storybook ending would be to retire a Bill

- Buffalo is his "home", and where his heart is

- Morse brought up the drive to Kansas City (when he was not cleared to fly due to a punctured lung), Poyer said to Morse "I did it for guys like you in the locker room", and then he went on to say that he wouldn't have done the same thing last year for Miami 😀

The guy seems to trying to get the Bills to take him back for one last lap. I can't blame him.

Our safety situation isn't awesome. I would lose approximately zero sleep on a one year vet minimum or late season injury/depth signing.

Oh my god no.

The only contract he should sign is a ceremonial, 1-day contract to retire as a Bill. Nothing that actually counts against the cap. Might as well just flush that money down the toilet otherwise.

Cool stories, Jordan. Get lost.

While understanding current animosity towards him, Poyer was an excellent Safety for the Bills and deserves to be respected and remembered as such. I would happily see him get the 1 day contract and retire from Buffalo.

It definitely sounded like he was pandering to the Bills a bit, but the dude is washed.

Hating on Poyer as a Bills fan might be one of the lamest things you can do.

He sealed his fate with the cheap shot on Keon Coleman. Let alone doing it as a Dolphin.

I do appreciate him letting Cook blow by him on his way to a long TD run.

As bad as Damar and Rapp are perceived to have played last year...both were a step up from where Poyer was last year with the Dolphins and I would argue with the Bills in his final year with the team.

Once a great player who just had Father Time catch up on him. Had a hell of a career here. But his time is over

It wasn't a cheap shot, he’s a full step and half slower than he used to be

You could tell he had the Bills game marked on his calendar. That wasn't the only play, you could tell it was personal for him. I understand, it's hard to get cut from a team after everything he did, but I think he crossed the line.

The way he acted headhunting our players like that? NO WAY... respect is EARNED and he lost a lot of respect going out of his way to try and hurt Bills players.

I don't think he was headhunting. He was just trying to make plays but he is too slow to do it anymore.
