Conversely Dawson Knox was a downfield threat quite often last year. So what’s going on at OBD? Was Kincaid too injured to run long routes or did he lose the trust of Brady and Allen? Combination ? 1 Quote
Einstein Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We may have a skinny WR masquerading as a TE, but at least we don’t have a QB with tinyyyy hands! This is a real photo of Kenny Pickett (left) and Joe Flacco (right) both gripping the ball at Browns OTA’s. 1 1 1 Quote

Dalton appears to be more of a slight frame guy that fights to keep muscle on. If he didn’t try, I bet he’s a guy that walks around at 6’4” and 200lbs. 12 hours ago, Einstein said: We may have a skinny WR masquerading as a TE, but at least we don’t have a QB with tinyyyy hands! It’s actually amazing Picket was as good as he was in college, his grip on the ball is so limited. 1 Quote

Redblood Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Almost seems like kincaid is wanting to transition to wide out. Quote

While QB hand size is important there is also a massive step up from college to the NFL And the little things make more of a difference The college ball also has larger laces making it easier to grip than the Duke Mike Vick had the same sized hands as Pickett and he had lighting in his arm 1 Quote

I didn’t realize Vick had such small hands, but he could absolutely spin it. Quote

"The dude's been playing on a torn PCL in one leg and then his other knee - he doesn't even know what's wrong with it because he hasn't had it scanned yet, but it's got so much fluid in it. Like, it's insane what he has played through... the selfless nature it takes to be able to put your body on the line for your team even when you got a torn PCL in one knee and the other knee don't even know what's wrong with it, but it's messed up too..." Some here don’t think injuries are a reason or an excuse, especially for skinny TEs, 🤣 Edited May 10 by Don Otreply 2 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 In case people forgot: Kincaid as a rookie had the 4th most receptions by a rookie TE in history and 10th most yards. Season 2 he missed some games, played hurt and battled knee issues. I think he has a lot to prove this year for sure, but also think the doom patrol circling him like vultures is a bit much at this stage. 1 1 Quote

What good is a first round pick who only catches 4 yard passes and gets taken down by the first defender? I’m so sick of the bubble screens to Kincaid that go nowhere. Lots of excuse makers who are Dalton enablers. Dude is in his third year and 26 years old. When is the light going to turn on for Dalton? If he sucks ass again, cut him loose, no fifth year option. Get us a better TE 2 Quote
