Yes, we all love the classics, but what random-ass games stick out for you as a great memory?

I'll start by nominating our home game against Miami in the 2002 season. Ricky Williams running wild, the snow coming out of nowhere, Bledsoe and Moulds taking over, Jim Kelly running up and down the sidelines in jubilation. Just a great, fun game all around.

A few come to mind - rams game at home in 2020, I think that was the game where I realized that Allen was the guy. Raiders in 2011, game before the Patriots game in 2011. Came back and beat the raiders with the last second David Nelson td. Raiders in 2008, probably a totally forgotten gane, but won on a last second fg and trent Edwards was electric (🤮

The crazy comeback against Cincinnati in the Fitzy era. Completely irrelevant game that nobody outside of the greater Buffalo and Cincinnati areas saw. But lots of fun to go back and watch.

Bills Bengals MNF 1991.  Kelly throws a pick on 3 straight possessions.  Then throws 5 straight TD's. Lofton has over 200 yards.

There are 2 more from that year I loved.

Yes that game was a classic in it's time!  That game and the Pats game in 2011 were my favorite games from the Drought years

Bills/Jets ‘88 AFC East 9-6 clincher.

My brother is on the field celebrating playing tug of war with total strangers with the net. Net rips, he goes flying back, falls, disappears in the crowd. Like uh-oh? Where is he? Pops up holding a piece of netting like he won the WWE belt.

Afterwards, I say good thing you weren’t trampled. He says my glasses fell off, I didn’t want to lose the netting so with one hand I’m reaching through feet to get them, which, kind of amazingly, he did without getting stepped on or the glasses getting crushed.

Fun times.

Oops sorry, didn’t catch the non-classic game posit. That be any rainy game back then where lines formed to slide down the couple wet grass slopes inside the stadium like a slide. They still do that?

It's also a Miami game. We beat them on a Thursday night I think Gailey's last year.... if I remember it right both teams had special teams return touchdowns.

And then the Kyle Orton / Dan Carpenter Detroit road win under Marrone.

I remember that one. We needed a furious comeback at the end to pull it out. JaMarcus Russell looked great, from what I remember, for Oakland.

The one memory that stands out for me was that Lindell's game-winning kick, the entire team had their arms locked other that Aaron Schobel, who stood behind everyone. Always liked him a little less after that.

Remember it well. Bengals were 0-7 at the time I believe. Loften roasted some CB named Fain all night.

For me its the "No Punt" game against SF.

There are a few, but these two come to mind.

The Bills vs Vikings September 2018. This is the game Josh Allen jumped clear over Anthony Barr. At that point, you knew Josh was something special.

The Bills vs Rams in September of 2020. Yeah, we blew a 25 point lead, but Josh Allen put the cape on for that last drive. He threw Donald to the ground by his face mask, then hits Tyler Kroft for the game winner in the corner of the endzone with 15 seconds to go.

A random one I just remembered that meant a lot to me because it was the first game I remember watching with my dad, a die-hard Buffalonian who got me into Bills fandom - an early season match up against the Houston Oilers at the Astrodome in 1989.

This game had everything. Kelly and Moon in a shootout. A blocked FG TD return. A blocked punt TD return. Went to OT where the Bills won 47-41 on a Kelly-to-Reed TD pass. If this exact game had been replicated in the Super Bowl, it would be inarguably known as the greatest football game of all time.

Can’t remember the exact date, or whether it was a Sunday night or Monday night game, or even who won, but it was Bills-Jets in Orchard Park in the 90s when they unveiled the new fluorescent security uniforms. Perfect game to do it… plenty of tailgating and lots of downstate rival fans… it looked like fluorescent ants invading the stadium all night with all of the drunkity-drunk drunken shenanigans. 🤣

2017 Bills-Broncos. The third (and most recent) time I attended a Bills home game. Unless I'm mistaken it went on record as the hottest Bills home game ever. Fortunately we were on the shady side. Most memorable play was Von Miller's unsportsmanlike when he put out his hand to help Tyrod up after a third down stop in the 4th - and then pulled it back drawing a penalty. My profile pic is from that game. Good times.
