Brianmoorman4jesus Posted yesterday at 02:34 PM Posted yesterday at 02:34 PM This team is severely overdue to draft a big time pass rusher. Just from sheer odds alone, eventually we got to run into one. It’s been decades 4 1 Quote

I'd personally prefer being an elite 70s studio musician who worked with everyone, to being a leading 80s/90s comic actor. But come on. What lore. 3 Quote
Billsfed1 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Really like what he’s put on tape. I think he was an absolute steal in the 3rd by anyone’s measure. 1 Quote
HaldimandBills Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Just for context as I hate the AJ Epenesa comparisons. Jackson RAS score is 9.88. Epenesa RAS score is 4.07 What does this mean? No idea but Jackson is far more athletic. 1 1 2 Quote

Bad Things Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 18 hours ago, Ralonzo said: You can look at him as a sack threat, i.e. the Alabama game in '23. But yeah, it's on the run where having him instead of Epenesa on the edge makes a difference in denying the sideline to the RB. There's a lot of tape on Jackson that looked a lot like Epenesa last year - out in space playing contain on a misdirection play. Except where Epenesa got waltzed consistently, Jackson was racking TFL's. He's not lost in space, he can click and close so much better than AJE who looked that guy in the commercial pouring his own inground pool. Jackson's change of direction isn't great but AJE's is like trying to take a tank through a slalom course. I liken the difference between Jackson and Epenesa there as exactly the difference between James Cook and Singletary... the latter is just lacking that top gear to make it to the sideline. So, he's not like Devin Singletary, driving a tank down a slalom course into a freshly poured pool? Thank God! I kid! I kid! ... and I totally agree with your assessment. 😁 2 Quote

It's one of the most bizarre and inaccurate comparisons I can recall. 1 Quote

I’m not disagreeing with you but Epenesa has also completley transformed his body from a power rusher to more of a speed rusher. Epenesa did all of his drills at like 280lbs. Jackson plays at 280-290 but dropped weight for the combine to time better. I feel if Epenesa did his drills at his current weight his RAS would be closer. Quote
Prospector Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Can we get an official list of the famous people here and their account names? I may or may not be Will Ferrel from SNL. lol, just kidding, if I was that famous and rich, I wouldn’t be talking to you losers. 2 1 Quote

One is an elite athlete and one isn't. Watching their college tape it is no contest. Landon Jackson is much more fluid than Epenesa. 1 1 Quote

However, I’m unconcerned about that because I’m butt hurt about some perceived slight from years ago that’s important to me, and no one else. The confusion will arise from time to time among people investing time and energy here. That matters not to me. In my universe this is clever and self gratifying. The rest be damned.” Quote

Epenesa RAS score is 4.07 What does this mean? No idea but Jackson is far more athletic. Just keep in mind that RAS is calculated using only the data available. Anything missing isn’t factored in. For example, Jackson didn’t do the 3 cone or 20 yard shuttle drills so his agility isn’t part of his RAS score. Obviously agents want players to maximize their players’ scores so they would tell them to avoid any testing that would lower it substantially. The other popular tactic is to split up different measurements. For example, put on some weight for the combine but run the 40 and other agility drills at the pro day (after they shed that extra weight). Edited 5 hours ago by BarleyNY 4 Quote
