So we now have 3 WR with actual separation ability.  Moore, Shakir and Palmer.  You know, that major ability that has eluded our WR corp for ahile now.

All of this is fine, but the way Beane came off on the show, knowing he was still searching for WR seems over the top disingenuous…

Again, as I said before, all he had to do was say that he is always open to upgrading the roster, and his phone is always open…this doesn’t indicate tipping his hand at all…it’s simply a vague response that leaves the door open, instead of losing control of his emotions

I disagree. Beane knew this guy was coming in to talk because he knows more than some dopes on the radio and fans bitching about stuff and all of the dealings that fans aren’t privy to.

Media and fans that complain need to STFU and let men hired to do the job do it. If fans ran the team it would be a big a nightmare.

My only question is "Why in the ***** does he even know who these clowns are or what they're saying?"

WGR Official Radio station of the Buffalo Bills

.....for now.

I mean seriously, can they not get better than AM radio?

The Bills play positionless at WR. When are people going to realize this. Guys aren’t Xs and Zs and Fs. They move guys around based on the packages they want to play.

How do you figure?

He's not wrong in the way that WRs have been traditionally deployed, but Joe Brady likes to move pieces around so both Shakir and Moore will line up all over the place. As will Coleman.

We just both said the same thing but you put it better because you know ball a lot better than I do.

This offense,and I said this last year, doesn't have a true "X".

The X receiver can be anyone at anytime.

Word is that coleman has added muscle this yr. Maybe he can be stronger on contested balls

And can you imagine him in a 3 wide spot running up the seam on a nickle back?

I think he was on hold for 2-3 minutes. That’s all it takes, at least for me.

They are very different players with different skill sets obviously.  If Coleman gets up to speed, they will not miss Hollins in the least.

They're vastly different players. Hollins was limited in his role but impactful in his time.

Coleman needs to have a bigger impact with more time.

Steep hill and hard row to hoe for the young man.

Well the guy this hurts the most is Shavers. Guy went from # 5 WR and STs ace to hoping that the Bills decide to keep 6 WRs for his ST ability

So beat them all out and there wont be a problem, won't hurt him if he's good enough. Any one of these WR's other than Shakircan win those outside WR spots imo, time to earn it.

Correct. Beane recognizes that part of what will make the DL improve is competition. We need genuine competition in the WR room, too.

Most likely better than any Wr in the 5th we would have drafted.  BTW I definitely wanted a WR in the draft.

and we Drated one and signed2 UDFA’s. Did you want is to use our 1st pick?😳

Now Beane seems like a fool for how he behaved on wgr…clearly he felt like he needed another receiver, yet attacked the radio hosts for suggesting as much…

To avoid this situation, all he had to say was that the offseason wasn’t over, and that they are always looking to upgrade…Unfortunately his emotions got the best of him…

Needing a WR and wanting to improve your WR competition are two very different scenarios. I'd be willing to bet Mr. Coleman's job to lose is the WR spot opposite Palmer.
