Obviously anything can happen, but Vegas win totals predict:

-AFC East opponents are all 500 or worse.  NE on the rise.  Jets on the descent.  Miami still Miami.

-NFC South is a struggle fest with Tampa as a 9.5 win Division champ.

-Steelers and Cleveland still in QB purgatory.

-Home schedule is dynamite!  Games against 4 predicted Division champs (Balt, KC, Philly, TB) plus Cincy who carves McD zones up like air.  Hopefully home field advantage is huge and we close the old stadium with some massive wins.

Vegas Win Totals in parentheses with my subjective Win/Loss/Toss-Up

HOME:

Baltimore Ravens  (11.5, Loss)

Cincinnati Bengals (9.5, Loss)

Kansas City Chiefs (11.5, Toss Up)

Miami Dolphins (8.5, Win)

New England Patriots (7.5, Win)

New Orleans Saints (6.5, Win)

New York Jets (5.5, Win)

Philadelphia Eagles (11.5, Toss Up)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9.5, Toss Up)

AWAY:

Atlanta Falcons (7.5, Win)

Carolina Panthers (6.5, Win)

Cleveland Browns (4.5, Win)

Houston Texans (9.5, Toss Up)

Miami Dolphins (8.5, Sept Liquid IV Game = Toss Up, Oct-Jan = Win)

New England Patriots (7.5, Toss Up)

New York Jets (5.5, Win)

Pittsburgh Steelers (8.5, Win)

I'm seeing 9 Wins, 2 Losses, 6 Toss Ups.

At home: 4 wins, 2 losses and 3 toss ups? Interesting, who would have guessed we went 10-0 at home last year?

very unlikely to happen. Interesting to consider though.  Week 17 Battle for the 1 seed?  League trying to help us lol

the game is a virtual lock to be CBS National Game of year at 4:25, unless network picks rotate in some fashion

As I’ve always said, you can’t base strength of schedule until the year has been played out. Basing it off results from a year before is useless.

I'd love to see the data.   I don't believe in picking individual games based on last year but as a whole I think perceived strong or weak schedules don't often result in the opposite.

What HAS been very predictable for the last 25 years is the AFC East.   One team is going to be good and the rest are going to be their chew toys.

Better not be a Christmas Day game, I’m already shocked when the kids open all the presents from Santa and I get socks and underwear. The last thing I need is a nerve racking bills game to go with it.

I doubt we go unbeaten at home again but really I don't know how anyone gets to Baltimore and Cincinnati as "losses" when "toss ups" is an option. The way I see the home schedule is: 3 divisional games (should all be wins); 2 NFC South games (should both be wins); the Bengals game where I lean towards a win; and then we play 3 of the other teams I consider among the top five in the NFL - Bills, Chiefs, Lions, Eagles, Ravens - and those three games against the Chiefs, Eagles and Ravens are toss ups. But what would surprise me is if the Bills lost all those toss up games. That just hasn't happened in the Allen era. They will find a way to win at least one of those three games.

And their road schedule I think they have a genuine chance to go 8-0.

I think this is one of the Bills better #1 seed opportunities of recent years.

Agreed.  For the first time in a while all of the most difficult matchups are home games, and the Bills do have a legitimate HF advantage.  The Texans are on the road, but I don’t think most of us really view them as a “top” team despite their division dominance and the game last year.

The Texans beat us right at the end last year despite Josh playing terribly and completing 9 passes in the entire game. If we get average Josh Allen that day, not even elite Josh, then we win the game. I fancy us strongly to turn that around.

It was a weird game…the rookie safety got burned deep in the first half, the awful offensive play…but once the game was over I had no fears about facing that team again.

Agreed.  That's the 4:25 standalone November sweeps game, probably played the week of or the week before Thanksgiving. (I meant to quote the point about the Chiefs game potentially being on week 17 on MNF.)

I’d prefer we play KC and Baltimore mid season vs end of season. I’m not a fan of  beating up on each other right before the playoffs.

I think folks are overlooking the Bucs when talking about difficult opponents.  Mayfield, Evans, Godwin, a solid RB in Irving, A mountain in Vita Vea, they will be a tough out even in the OP.

Typically at home they lose one you are not expecting. That may be my pick this year for the reasons you said, especially if that game is earlier in the year and the secondary/d-line is figuring itself out. The game in 2017 was a straight up shootout and could see that again.

The NFL does lots of annoying things, but the schedule release delay and pomp and circumstance is the worst.

Of course and to just poop it out right at 8pm across the board is really dumb. Just the same, it'd be pretty dumb to make it an unveiling show going week by week as they unveil it to generate engagement

But still that'd be really cool to have that the case. They start and go week by week with interesting matchups and how it will play out for each team at the weeks go by.

to be fair….the NFL wants to wait to see what happens in free agency and some big names in the draft go to before releasing the schedule.

Bills only have two indoor games this season - at Atlanta and at Houston.

It will be interesting to see how the schedule breaks for the Pittsburgh and Cleveland away games, would expect a lot of Bills fans at those game if they aren't in late December or first week of Jan.

But are they sleeping on them?  That’s the real test…

I would like to go to 1 of the 3 games you mention..

I want to plan a trip around somewhere that also has live poker.

I am thinking Houston, Miami, Pittsburgh or Cleveland. Or waiting for @Vegas the following season (I think)
