Rivalries Uniforms Coming

Meh, it's just another example of the kidification of the NFL. I noticed at the draft when Goodell came out and everyone was booing and he stood there saying "bring it on" or something, it reminded me of McMahon in the WWE.

 

It is what it is. I'm old and am no longer the demographic they're aiming for. The only ones pitching to me are the erectile dysfunction pills they're always hawking during the ad breaks

Zubaz would be a great get for the Bills honestly. Make the restripe on the Buffalo Zubaz, and the stripes on the jersey? Or maybe the numbers? IDK. But if they go down this road and do it right, they won't be able to keep them on the shelves. 

 

I hope it isn't some riff on chicken wings. Ugh

Reverting back to the identical jerseys to the NYG, errr I mean 90's Bills uniforms would be super "meh" to me.

the nickel city is a nice concept though with the coin and something that is unique to buffalo that doesn't include the falls or chicken wings.  I already know they are going that route so wont be surprised when it happens.

The Queen City.. city of light and the City of good neighbors are usually all typically used before Nickel City 

 

Which was more of a similarity because the bison on the back of the Indian head nickel... Which was never produced here

The City of light is still on the official flag for Buffalo and I can see a city of lights uniform... A chromy non dark uniform 

City of light(s) is more known worldwide as Paris.  City of good neighbors, yes.... but how do you make that a jersey design?

Worldwide it is certainly Paris 

 

Yet Buffalo was the first city in America to be widely lit up with electricity and our flag still bears the symbol 

 

Which might I add is a pretty good city flag 

 

I think you could actually make a design around that.. I don't know how you could design city of good neighbors 

 

And certainly hope they don't go chicken wing

 

 just kind of seems like a money grab all around

Oh of course it is.  

 

I think the flag logo could work but I feel like they would screw it up and we would look like a discount Titans team with the colors.  They will go with light blue on white or something like that and then the logo on the helmet.  Similar to how I originally said about the "nickel city" looking like the Raiders but that actually looks pretty good IMO.

If we aren’t going to do it on our own, please use it as an excuse to do a full 1990s red helmet throwback. It’s a rivalry thing with the dolphins Im assuming…let’s use it as excuse to get them back

I can see it now Queen City! ... a Freddie Mercury themed uniform... like Big teeth with a Tiara on them on the side of the helmet... little poofie things at the pant bottom.. Sleeveless  Purple and pink jerseys with frilly scarves knit in...  running out on the field to "Fat Bottom Girls"....  🤣😆

Rather black helmet over blue helmet.  Maybe the Sabers bull like design and color scheme.  Reality is the majority of fans would want a red helmet if Buffalo used another helmet scheme.  I think it makes too much sense not to.

I typically hate 3rd uniforms, especially in the nfl.  I commend them for keeping that at bay all these years for the classic looks.

 

However, I would really get excited for that nickel city look.  That would be pretty awesome
