Not sure if he has actual inside info, but Cam Wolfe just said on NFLN that the Bills  "did have early conversations with Von and they are still interested in bringing him back.  Bosa deal probably decreases the chances a little bit, but if Von is willing to come back at a lower number they have not ruled it out"

I believe he will be back in Buffalo. Still think they're working out some type of deal.

This doesn't make any sense right ?

We released him and took a cap hit of almost $15M for this season.... Now if you re-signed him say to a 1-year 8M...You pretty much have 23M against the cap and the 8M you saved goes back to Miller's salary.

It doesn't make sense unless he is coming back for Veteran minimum....otherwise, the Bills might as well have negotiated a lower salary with him and reduced that $15M cap hit.

First of all, this is just click bait speculation by the “writer”.  Second, I am not sure how it would be bad news for the Bills.  I am pretty certain that the bills OL is intimately familiar with all his moves and he no longer has the pure speed around the corner to threaten.  Have at it Baltimore, but I doubt it.

In what way?  As a player, during games, or in prep?

I think he retires this off season, as he will never start again the NFL, and may not even get a contract offer.  If he does, likely a vet minimum- ?

He has been done for a while, just kept playing. He will absolutely not strike any fear in the Bills, as they know what he is not capable of now.

He should not continue to tarnish his legacy by trying to do something he can no longer do at an adequate level. About $200 million made in salary alone, so he should be able to take a few years off and enjoy his life.

Worst move of Brandon's tenure here, hated it the day it happened and still. A violation of the excellent processes he put in place, so it came back to haunt him.

Vons done Imo. Could hardly produce for the bills even with a very limited roll

He stunk and it’s a good thing he is gone.

the problem is they just resigned him by another name in Joey Bosa.

Yup, it was a swing and a miss panic signing based on the lack of production from Basham & Epenesa. It almost worked out until it didn't.

Bosa is 7 years younger than Von, and is only 29!

Miller had better numbers last year technically.

bosa had more Offside penalties than sacks.

he was a terrible terrible signing.

He has to stay healthy. If he does, he is an automatic double digit sack guy. But I will concede that staying healthy for a full season for him is rolling the dice.

He hasn’t had double digit sacks since 2021.  He has played in every game 1 time in 5 years.

He is not going to make any difference in the defense this year, imo.

On a 1-year $12 m deal, it feels like a low risk/high upside move. I guess we will see!

He's not likely to turn back into that Von Miller, so how much upside is there really?
