He catches flak for every playoff defeat and disappointing season they have had since Lamar became an MVP. I’m glad to hear that, and it’s what I would hope for and expect. Having a ring does not remove expectations. If you have one, it’s from the past. I’m more concerned about this year and next year than last year or the last decade or two. 1 Quote

Majority of the guys with better separation also have lower DoT. In fact, only THREE-ish guys have better separation AND depth? (6-ish have better separation but lesser depth.) That's promising, especially considering we've already played Baltimore and New Jersey, so Coleman has exclusively faced CBs who can COVER. 3 Quote

Albany,n.y. Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Tony Gonzalez has declared the Bills the winners of the trade. He's called Coleman a bonafide & budding superstar. My only question is how can you call him both, since bonafide happens after the bud has bloomed. 1 Quote

We got the right guy 1 Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the New York Giants and is not traveling with the team. Worthy, recovering from a dislocated right shoulder suffered in the season opener, took a positive step Wednesday, practicing without restrictions. He was listed as a limited participant as a precaution. Unlike last week, Worthy was seen running routes during the open portion of practice without extra padding on his right arm. Quote

Especially since he did practice and is not like recovering from surgery or something similar. Quote

So yes, that’s why a Chiefs article is in the Bills forum, because it is unfortunately “Bills related” 5 1 2 Quote
Big Turk Posted Monday at 12:50 PM Posted Monday at 12:50 PM (edited) I'd say that it was more the Ravens defense being trash and having multiple additional starters on D go down injured than Worthy. Edited Monday at 12:50 PM by Big Turk 6 4 3 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted Monday at 12:55 PM Posted Monday at 12:55 PM It's hard to judge because of how decimated on D the Ravens are. I think the Panthers would have put up alot of points on them today. He is a key addition of course. But time will tell. In fact, time will tell with alot of teams. No team out there is a juggernaut. There is no 2007 Patriots or 2013 Broncos type team. 3 Quote

It certainly factored in, but regardless, it has been a while since we have seen the Chiefs put up 30+ that easily against any team and we are kidding ourselves if we don’t think Worthy was a big reason for that. That said, I am probably more concerned with the fact that the Chiefs obviously have a defense that is capable of slowing down playoff caliber offenses (as they have been for a while) and we do not. Rubes Posted Monday at 12:59 PM Posted Monday at 12:59 PM When they have Rice back as well we’ll be longing for the days early this season when we thought the Chiefs might possibly miss the playoffs entirely. 2 2 Quote
wjag Posted Monday at 01:00 PM Posted Monday at 01:00 PM (edited) Rice and Worthy will be there against the Bills and Mahommes is looking Thornton's way as well. This will be an enormous test. I expect the Chiefs to go on a mini-run including beating the Lions. You have to kill the vampire when they are sleeping. The league didn't finish the job. Edited Monday at 01:02 PM by wjag 1 3 Quote

Maybe so, but at the very least, it’s a combination. Because I’ve witnessed the Chiefs offense struggle to move the ball against much worse defenses than the “decimated” version of Ravens defense. Put it this way, if it were the Bills with this type of output after getting our top WR back, our board would be all over how much that player means to the team. I think most of us - myself included - do not like to admit to ourselves how good this kid is becoming. Thank goodness he appears to be fragile and potentially injury prone. boater Posted Monday at 01:07 PM Posted Monday at 01:07 PM The shoulda coulda would haves hindsight people. The Worthy trade sucks and our draft pick trade netted the Chief's Mahomes. Frick'en Beane. 2 Quote

That said, I think we all know that regardless of who is and isn’t playing, the Chiefs-Bills meeting will go all the way down to the wire WHEN (not if) we meet again in the playoffs. It’s inevitable. 1 Quote
