I am less annoyed by the lack of a hyphen there than I am people using "instinctual" instead of instinctive though. Not sure when or why it became acceptable to use the wrong suffix. Language evolves overtime and words and definitions get updated. Or does that only happen to people that aren't perfect? i was not criticizing you. trust me. i am the laziest typist here. if i misspell something i seldom fix it. i don't usually hit shift for capital letters. similarly on my cell phone you can tell because it capitalizes words, corrects spelling... but i seldom enter a new line. Producing is still producing. There are better examples. The problem with resign and re-sign is that they both involve a change in work circumstance........they aren't used in an entirely different nature.
