Steelers are + 10 … so have at it ..good odds for what you think is a 50/50 game

Right obviously the team needs to knuckle down grit out this win. But all last week there's all this worry about the Dolphins who were a team that had a top offense and the 2nd seed and now were doing it with the Steelers who barely have an offense at all?

The Steelers have a better D than Miami. Miami was "injured" last night and they gave us fits at times. I expect this playoff game to be a barn burner, low scoring game. Our main issue is Cook. He can't run up the middle vs good, beefy D lines like last night, like vs NE and the Steelers have a great line. Ty Johnson is most likely out - so it will be Cook, Lenny and Murray. That scares me.

Hope for Josh runs being effective and short passes to Diggs/Shakir/Kincaid. Steelers are no joke boys....

LOL at the worry warts (or trolls) in this thread.  The Steelers are not a good football team; they are one of the worst (and most fortunate) playoff teams I’ve ever seen.

If Bills fans are “scared” by this game I suggest you find another outlet for your entertainment.

The line is nearly double digits for a reason.

Does crazy chit happen?  Of course it does.  But I’ll take my chances in this game 90 times out of 100.  The 10 times Pittsburgh wins in that scenario are when the turnovers are 4-0 or something nutty like that.

When the Bills lost to Denver I was ready to kick McD to the curb, but he has absolutely impressed me with how he turned the tables on every “expert” and has suddenly become a coach who not only wins close games, but seems to thrive in them.  5-1 vs. the playoff field!

Go Bills!  15-6, babyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

We ran through the Commanders, Raiders, and Jets (second meeting). All bad teams.

Chargers game was on the road across the country after they had 9 days rest, and we gave the ball away twice.

Broncos game we gave the ball away 4 times and STILL should have won.

Pats game I agree was a dud, but we also gave the ball away twice.

I don't think we have a "play down to bad opponents" problem but everyone can assess the outcomes and games differently. I think we have a turnover problem that allows bad teams to stick around and even win. But that doesnt mean we play down to them. Just my take.

Yeah, for sure. It's my perception, but I wont argue it too much. I dont have a ton of math to back it up...

We’re not joking. Me and Coach want our revenge. Been waiting since August for this moment. They embarrassed us. 😉

I knew we were going to use that for motivation, I mean why the hell not.

I don't think people are scared of the Steelers but I do think we are scared of the Bills, a team good enough to beat everybody, a team that can be bad enough to lose to everybody.   My thinking is this, as a team the Bills are gelling at the right time, and it's a team game, someone is going to make the big play at the crucial time.  No reason why this can't be our year.

Everybody is scared of the Bills including us.

I remember last year where the Bills welcomed the Skylar Thompson Dolphins to Orchard Park with most expecting as blowout, and in the end it was a three point win. And that was a pre-cursor for an awful performance against Bengals. I think you've got it right - there's no reason we should be fearing the Steelers, with Rudolph at QB and probably no Watt, but there's every reason to fear the Bills.

Yes!  And as for making the big play at the crucial time, that is exactly what this team has become.  Josh in the 4th quarter last night was unstoppable, and the defense made play after play.

T.J. Watt is the most valuable defensive player in the NFL.  And in my opinion, it's not particularly close.

The drop-off for the Steelers without Watt is much bigger than the Dolphins without Xavier Rhodes, Bradley Chubb, etc.

The Bills absolutely SHOULD stomp them.  Out of the 14 NFL teams who made the playoffs, I would rank them around 16 or 17.

With that said, the Bills lost 5 games this season to teams who DID NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.  Just a couple weeks ago, they were barely scraping by against the Chargers and Patriots.

So while I'm tremendously excited about our situation... I fully realize that anything can happen.

There is a line between being worried and taking the Steelers seriously.

The Bills should handle business, but if they slack they'll be in trouble. Tomlin teams aren't going to lie down and die.

The Bills mostly gave themselves fits.  They rolled up almost 500 yards of offense and left at least 20-24 points on the field.  If we make 2 simple plays it is a blowout...Cook TD pass he drops wide open and Diggs way overthrown while college open for an 89 yard TD.  That would have given them almost 600 yards of offense.

Sure, they made a few nice blitz calls and got a couple of TO's, but their D got shredded all night long.  The game was much closer to the 48-20 game earlier this year than it was to Miami being "even" in the game. Bottom line is the Bills have themselves to blame and themselves only for the game even being close.

Mostly because Allen decided he wanted to pour it on instead of taking the easy win when they went up huge early.

Bad weather, going against a good defense and an underdog team with nothing to lose and a 3rd string QB...

To me, this has all the makings of an anxiety inducing, closer than it needs to be, can't exhale until the final whistle type of game. Not that the Bills have really played any other type of game for most of this season, but...

I hope I'm wrong. I hope it's a laugher in favor of the good guys. As it stands now, though, I'll say 20-17 Bills.

Nothing to lose ?  It’s the playoffs?

Do coaches really believe that when they say they don’t know a status on a players injury most call bs? I can’t imagine they don’t at the minimum get a preliminary update from the staff.  I get it that they don’t what to say something that’s not accurate but I don’t buy it when they act like they have no information on the injury. Your the head coach and I would expect you get updates on everything related to your team.

It’s weird that I can’t look at this game and say who the better team is. I mean, it’s OBVIOUSLY the Bills if they bring their A Game, or maybe even B Game, but there is more than one version of this team. More than any team I can remember, I have no idea what to expect. I’ll just have to hope they string together a few more good weeks.

Please don’t let them hang around. I can’t take much more!!!

Kinda ironic that with all the 8pm and 4:25pm games the Bills played this year........

The Bills start the playoffs Sunday at 1pm.

We are the only team in NFL history to play 7 regular season night games.

My guess is because it's the steelers. If it was the bills and kc, I highly doubt it's a 1pm game
