I really don't want #17 to end up being the Dan Marino of the modern era, all due to late game coaching blunders. Josh Allen is buffalo. He sells the tickets that make Pegula all that money. In the end, his sway should supersede that of McD or even Beane. Like Terry listened to Eichel? Never underestimate the desire of the uber rich to maintain stability and continuity at all costs. Never forget the “maintain our lifestyle” PowerPoint.
TheyCallMeAndy
Again not saying he doesn’t need to be canned if we miss the playoffs. I’m trying to point out his shortcomings are common and the 2024 coaching pool looks thin. Giving Beane/McD one more season and hire a new HC/GM in 2025 may be a better longterm move. Eichel is nowhere near the star power of Allen dude. Allen is close to being the face of the league, lol yeah sure they'd keep McDermott over him.

If this is true do we hope to keep Brady as OC and Mcd bringing in an D Coordinator? If this offense plays out the way it has the last two weeks, I'd keep Brady. They definitely need a DC though. Even if McD is calling plays (not saying I want him to) they are short handed.

The issue for me is that McD is a defensive minded coach and that is not working in the NFL today. An average offensive minded coach would do more with Allen and company then McD has done. If Pegula isn't going to fire McD if he misses the playoffs, and I'm skeptical of the timing of this bit of news that he isn't, he must insist on a complete overhaul in how the Bills organization looks at their defense & offense. For the next couple of years the O must get the lions share of FA signings and draft picks. If the Bills don't do at least this then we will become the Chargers. McD is wasting the best player in the league.
