You do understand that the responsibility for the field goal team is likely on the special teams coach?

It is likely that the late DB injurie messup up the field goal team D.

The D played well enough to win tonight. Who coaches the D?

It falls on the head coach

Do you know what was worse then to many players on the field?  The fact that McD called an all out blitz TWICE IN A ROW after Sean Payton & Russel Wilson had time during a TO to discuss what they would do if McD did it again.  And Russ threw a sky ball deep and got the expected PI.  It was 3rd & 10 from midfield we didn't need another sack they were alreday out of FG range.

On TSN, Luke Wilson said it was an absolutely ridiculous play call.

He said Russell Wilson is one of the best cover 0 QBs out there. (He played with him for 7 years)

Allen despite a horrible game drove them to a lead with less than two minutes.

The defense allowed six points off of four turnovers.

We still lost because of 12 men on the field.    McDermott makes Rex Ryan look like Vince Lombardi with that one.   I was not for firing him until today, but that is grounds for dismissal.

McD so badly out coached by Peyton on the hail mary DPI.  The Broncos knew that would either be a completion or DPI.  Very smart play with that blitz coming.  Then a brilliant play by the Broncos to run another play, hurry up and catch the Bills special teams sleepwalking. Serves them right.  fire the whole effing bunch of them.

It doesn't matter.

This is an opportunity to flush him out the door.

Dorsey is gone anyways, so it's time.

McDermott is the leader in charge.

It is on him as the head coach

The special teams coach reports to him as well. Top down the whole show is rotten this year and has been on a downward trajectory for too long

Head coach is ceo out there.  Meltdowns chronically happen here in close games.

And that 2nd all out blitz on 3rd and long out of field goal range is indefensible

I have a stupid question here - but isn’t it the job of the special teams coach to make sure his players are out there? I’m not defending anyone. Just want clarification. I’m done with this coaching staff I think. And I’ve been as positive as I can be.

This is the rally cry of the McD apologists though, that it's always his coordinators fault, never his. As if he's not responsible for anything. He hires these coordinators for one thing...but the other is he's the Head Coach, he should also be aware of who is out there on the last play of a game, especially after a timeout. What else is he doing?
