Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!

Regarding the game, one thing Jimmy G is really good at is pocket awareness.  He's tough to sack, he will get that ball out Fast... or check into a better play.  Under Leslie's defense, a QB like Jimmy G would nickel and dime us to death and not be forced into mistakes.  Hopefully McDermott is in the Lab to figure something else out.

When I think of Bills/Raiders, I’m too “young” at a mere 55 years old to go back to the AFL days like some of you are fortunate to be able to do.  But, I can go back to the glorious ‘90-‘91 season AFC championship game and the 51-3 whooping we put on the “Autumn Wind is a Raider” legacy.

The only realistic hope I have now is not to end the game with a sore throat from yelling at the TV and needing 2mg of Xanax to calm down. Go Bills!!

Just win this game, offense get your act together and move on from this past week.

Hard for me to get super excited about anything else.

Hopefully the Pats and Cowboys win so that by Monday morning, we’re all sitting at 1-1 in the AFCE.

I agree that 12 personal package wasn't very daunting. I believe Knox and Kincaid combined had combined 7 catches for 50 yards.

That hardly significant or Gronk/Hernandez like.

TBF, they're working the kinks out of it.  Being on the road in week one against one of the best D's in the NFL was always going to be a tall order.  I expect to see this package get a lot more productive over the season.

These home games where it seems like a great opportunity to "get right" seem to go off the rails sometimes.  For this game, I'm going to predict the offense gets its act together and executes well.  But inexplicably, the defense is going to get moved on and gashed more than we envision as of today.  So I see the Bills surviving a nail biter something like 31-27.

Yeah I see a nail biter as well. I'd love a blow out where we can all relax in the 4th quarter and spend our time looking for images of josh and diggs being friends on the sideline but that would surprise me

Those guys were open so many times, but not targeted. Could have had a huge game. Every pass to them was an easy 7 yards.

A win like that, against the Raiders, would most certainly not have me feeling good. Can’t beat a Zach Wilson led Jets team and then barely beat a completely average Raiders team. Would have be hesitant to call the Bills a playoff team, nevertheless a playoff contender.

I could be happy with that if Josh was 80 for 100, 1200 yards, no TO, and 1 TD, but Diggs, Davis, Kincaide, Knox, Cook, Harty, and Sherfield  all lost their pointer fingers and accounted for 17 fumbles. Imagine 17 fumbles and only allowing 7 points. What a defensive stand!

Weird thing today. Routinely the video feed comes up and then you start to see tweets from the reporters quoting the PC, which is what I look for to quote tweet and share the info here.

Today...nothing. Could not find one tweet. Not even from Sal. Maybe I missed some? But it seems like Buffalo sports media was radio silent for this morning on team coverage 🤔🤔🤔

That's flawed logic because it didn't happen.

That is realistic. Time will tell how effective or ineffective it will be. We fans can't assume the 12 package is going to be gold.

well, it’s called predicting. And anyone who saw the game film saw how effective those guys were in limited targets. Plus, the times they were just standing there wide open and Josh wasn’t throwing to them. they just need the targets.
