So we shouldn't sign him apparently.

Exactly 😂

We have a casino here in the Sacramento area that has billboards claiming ‘Voted the Best Casino’ but no details.  Nothing referencing a publication or website.  Nothing like ‘in Sacramento area’, just Voted Best.

Yup. Best burger! Best wings. Etc. There’s a WNY place called Bill Gray’s that has “Best Burger” plastered everywhere. I have eaten there twice and the second time was not by choice. The burgers I had there were both disappointing.

Devin Singletary is an underrated back and on a team with good line and scheme he would be a weapon but unfortunately that is not the Texans.

Devin Singletary was offered a 1 year contract worth up to $3.1M to be a backup for the Texans. The free agent market told you what he is.

Devin Singletary ran for 819 yards last year on 177 attempts, with 5 rushes of 20+ yards.

Ezekiel Elliot ran for 876 yards last year on 231 attempts, with 5 rushes of 20+ yards.

If you're looking for a "cogent point" you should be able to find it through this statistic.

He ain’t done but he doesn’t have the pop or burst anymore

he’s literally a solid 4 yards a whack and fall forward every time which is valuable … doesn’t fumble.. valuable

just won’t hit even 40 yarders anymore

Zeke Elliott is like the Atlanta Falcon version of Todd Gurley (3.5 ypc).

Not sure where Zeke's gonna land but I hope it's in the AFC East... that would be great.

That backup had more rushing yards last year than any primary Bills RB has had in 5 years.

Yet they cut him and are now eating 12 million in dead cap over the next two seasons.  Elliott was arguably one of the worst starting running back in the league last season who received significant carries.  Last in ypc (3.8) and percentage of runs that went past 10 yards (7.4%).  His strengths are at short yardage and pass protection.  Both of which the Pats could use.  Zeke may see himself as wanting a bigger role though and/or a bigger contract.

Cutting him after June 1 opened up 10.9 million this year and another 9.1 million next.  20 million in cap--pretty easy decision.

They don't pay RBs for YPC.  22% of his carries were for 1st downs.  12TDs.  The Bills would have killed for that from the starter they also cut...

They already have a good running back. I don't know why they would do this.

Because the media links every free agent to NE at some point. Dalvin Cook will prolly be next. The talking heads still love talking about the Pats every chance they get.

Future hall Of famer Ezekiel Elliot

Future Hall of Famer? Hardly. Just four 1,000 yard seasons out of his seven so far, and just over 8,000 yards total rushing? Not even close...unless he has a rejuvenation somewhere.

Why Singleterry never picked up special teams play by his own insistence is remarkable.

I know he's undersized but he wouldn't be a bad option at an upback for punts, or a cover guy on kickoffs.

Edit. My point was the guy will be in the league 3-4 more years simply because his ethics, his toughness, and his approach to the game. The latter defined further as being a nice competitor.e

Well 3 more years on top of 4 is 7 years which is an incredible career for a RB which is 2.5 years
