The Dodgers cave to anti Catholic LGBT group

That simplistic tact won’t work with adults.

This is far far from a “Twitter thing”

Turn on the mainstream media and see what is being said about this issue

If one side is ‘allowed’ to be offended

the so are the millions of Catholics

Vin Scully Is Rolling In His Grave After Dodgers Cave to Pride Mob.

“The Dodgers are glorifying a blasphemous hate group that delights in mocking Roman Catholics. Los Angeles has the largest Roman Catholic population in North America. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has almost five million members, a number that I’m sure is far greater than however many drag queens might be buying Dodger Dogs one day.”

(Who cares)

ANALYSIS: TRUE.

The Pride Cult Really Hates Judeo-Christian Values.

Batten down the hatches, y’all: Pride Month is coming. And much like “Christmas creep,” the Pride celebrations tend to start earlier and earlier every year. We can’t escape Pride Month no matter how hard we try.

Back in January, I wrote, “It’s no secret that, over the past few years, the left has moved from expecting tolerance for every part of the LGBTQ (and sometimes Y) movement to demanding that everyone celebrate it. We’ve come a long way from people having to say, “Yeah, yeah, sure. Gay people can marry and do all the things that straight people can do”

As a result of this insistence that everyone go all-in for pride cultishness, the LGBTQUGH crowd has taken to undermining the values that don’t fall in lockstep with it — especially Judeo-Christian values.

It’s like the pride calculus in reverse: accept everything about LGBTQeverything, and in exchange, the cult will try to destroy your values.

And it’s more than getting angry about the Bible verses in Leviticus and Romans that talk about the sin of homosexuality (remember how gay actor Ian McKellen claimed to rip those pages out of hotel Bibles?). It’s also more than invading progressive denominations to water down the Judeo-Christian message. Today, the LGBTQ cult wants to parody and satirize orthodox religion at every turn.

This will never be celebrated by the majority of people. Never. Bud Light is learning that lesson right now.

Why did we fight for the high school coach that dared lead a prayer before a game 20 years ago only to be told we’re overreacting?

Why did we fight for the baker that was being forced by the government to bake the cake or he’d lose his business only to be told we’re overreacting?

Why did we fight against the SCOTUS having to decide what “marriage” is only to be told we’re overreacting?

For those listening to the Catechism in a Year with Father Mike Schmitz his guest today told the story of his visit to a town in Belarus - a town where Stalin wanted to stomp out the Catholic Church.

He had the priest of this small town executed and the church destroyed.

For 60 years those people had nowhere to worship and risked their lives if they were caught meeting and trying to do so.

We’re a few communist judges in the right places and millions of people shrugging and saying “it’s no big deal you’re overreacting” to an issue like this from becoming that town.

Teachers’ union’s fruitful demand that Dodgers reinvite anti-Catholic group sounds kinda death threat-y

Earlier this week, we told you about the Los Angeles Dodgers’ ill-informed decision to rescind their rescinded invitation to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take the field on the Dodgers’ 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night to receive a special recognition.

Apparently the knowledge that they were offending a group that viciously and hatefully mocks Catholics with lewd performances and such was just too much for the Dodgers to live with. And what a shame it would be to not feature this kind of quality content at a baseball game:

But maybe the Dodgers had a really important reason to have the Sisters participate. Maybe they had reason to be concerned about what could happen if they didn’t cave.

Maybe the Dodgers know what kind of power the California Teachers Association has in the state:

Public sector teachers’ unions are nothing more than big, beefy arms of the Democratic Party.

And just like the Democratic Party, they won’t rest until they’ve ruined everything.

Catholic MLB Pitcher Trevor Williams Asks Dodgers to Reconsider Honoring Group Which 'Grossly Disrespects and Openly Mocks' Faith

Like Bud Light, the Los Angeles Dodgers didn’t see what was coming. It remains to be seen if the team is going to be hit by a freight train, like Bud Light, or a Smart Car, or something in the middle. But a lot of Catholics – and other Christians – aren’t happy with the franchise, including some MLB players.

Just about every team in every pro sport has a Pride Night, but most don’t honor a vile group like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which is explicitly anti-Catholic, and pretty damned explicit in general. They’re not looking for equality and acceptance. They exist to shock and to mock. Not really the kind of organization that collects good citizen awards, unless it’s from like-minded shockers and mockers.

Dodgers' Blake Treinen blasts organization for honoring Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence

by Scott Thompson

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen is the latest player on the team who does not agree with them set to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their Pride Night on June 16.

Treinen, who is currently on the 60-day IL as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, joined All-Star starter Clayton Kershaw as members of the organization who disapproved of the decision to add the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence back to their Pride Night event after previously removing the group. Treinen released a lengthy statement on the matter through his friend, Sean Feucht, via Twitter.

It’s just a rainbow! That and dressing as garish nuns and grinding on a crucifix. Hasn’t that always been part of baseball? Why are these players such bigots?

Is there any line you wouldn’t cross re: “inviting customers from all walks of life”? Clearly you are good with the garish man-nuns that grind on the crucifix. You seem by your words here to be a homophobe so that’s an interesting situation.

Thankfully we still live in a free country (I think)

Absolutely. While a freedom lover myself, I don’t see where celebrating man-nuns grinding on a crucifix would be considered celebrating a “walk of life”. Those people are abhorrent freaks that should be left on the fringes where they belong. Different strokes I guess.

A "freedom-lover" would recognize a baseball team can invite whoever they want and not get so easily offended.

Would a freedom lover not get offended if a baseball team invited NAMBLA or any other “minor attracted persons” organization for recognition? Minor attracted person…isn’t that a term many on your side prefer to use in place of pedophile?

You seem to be on the side of inviting and celebrating any sick freaks that demand such. Whatever suits you, big boy.

2nd paragraph is stupid and petty and unnecessary, I didn't invite anyone.

We make choices in our life as to what we are sensitive and offended about.  A professional baseball team inviting people to spend money on their product is not one that I choose to be offended over. Because I believe in freedom and stuff

Yeah but SUNY - they call us Communists.

It’s ok when people speak out against something that is clearly wrong. Man-nuns being honored is clearly wrong. No need whatsoever to equivocate over this freak show. Do you think there might be some outcry from your side if they were grinding on the Koran? It’s a rhetorical question.

You should be offended. It’s a very simple matter of right vs wrong. There’s no place for celebrating religious bigotry.

How would @SUNY_amherst feel about the Dodgers inviting nazi or white nationalist groups for some pre game festivities?

It's a free country, right?

It seems to me that the Dodgers would get considerable and well deserved backlash if they extended such an invite.

But of course people like @SUNY_amherst are always unapologetically hypocritical.

And what if some members of the team voiced the opinion that inviting nazis and white supremacists to their event was wrong and should not happen? Would the liberals shout them down and cancel them because we " live in a free country and stuff".

Well private businesses have long abandoned religious morals in the pursuit of money. I'm a grown man and have seen this a lot.

It seems odd to be so upset now about this stuff. Especially when its about a baseball team and not groups/individuals that have more directly profited from religious bigotry, like a Liberty University or something like that
