As a Bills fan, I feel the Bills came out of the situation pretty well. If anything, the Bengals have might feel they got the short end of the stick. Up to the moment it became apparent how serious Hamlin's injury was, I was preoccupied with how Burrow was carving up the Bills defense and the prospect of the Bills falling to the 3 seed. If the Bengals end up coming to Buffalo for the divisional round and lose in a close game they're likely to feel that they would have won if the game had been played in Cincinnati -- that they were screwed by circumstances beyond their control. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Would you rather play Miami, Bengals, Chiefs to get the SB or Chargers and one of Bengals/Chiefs? One is far far easier than the other. Yeah there is an easier route but if you come out of a bye not playing your best football you’re gonna get eliminated anyway. We can beat anyone, they have proved that. Ya Digg? Posted January 10, 2023 Share Posted January 10, 2023 There’s going to be a cloud, but to say they didn’t deserve it is a bit unfair. They went 14-3 so it’s hard to say they didn’t earn it. On the bright side for Bills fans, the Herbert Chargers have always played the Chiefs close, e.g. losing by three in both games this year and splitting with them last year. I think it's quite possible that if the Chargers played the Chiefs in the division round, the AFC championship game could end up in Buffalo after all. KC lost to BUF & CIN who both played fewer games, KC has been bailed out in key moments of games by officiating. The Chiefs deserved to lose against Denver at least once. The Texans. Loyal BF Posted January 10, 2023 Share Posted January 10, 2023 ABSOLUTLEY NOT!!! The Chiefs were handed the #1 seed that they did NOT earn. They LOST to both Bengals AND the Bills. They LOST to the two teams, that not by anything they did, nor their lack of performance on the field, have been screwed over. The Chiefs cannot be called the best team AFC. They lucked out on the back of Damar Hamlin’s tragedy. If they end up winning the Super Bowl it will be forever cheapened by this.
