Allen’s QBR last night was 83.6

Which Is actually higher then it was against Miami, Baltimore, and KC.

So even when he’s “off” he’s still an amazing QB.

Id just like the missed throw away in the dirt that got picked by Alexander back last night that even got on himself about.

Onto the Jets

He's out of the pocket... throw that out of bounds and take the 3.

Good 1st half, terrible 2nd half. We won't win if he has a full game like that 2nd half. Luckily we were already up big at that point. Josh is the entire offense. If he has a bad game then we won't win, simple as that. He had a bad 2nd half and we only had 3 points as a team as a result

I wouldn't call his performance "amazing" by any stretch but he makes enough clutch plays, even on an off night, to help beat most teams. But that level of play won't beat Kansas City.

And yet we still won by double digits, and Allen didn’t have that level of play against Kansas City.

He did seem a little off last night, but when you're playing at the level he's been playing at, his off games are still better than most QB's good games.  He did miss on a couple seemingly easy throws though.  The one to Kumerow stands out (even though it wouldn't have counted anyway) and underthrew a couple deep balls which is odd for him.  But not overly concerning.  Everyone has an off game once in awhile.

Allen was really off in the second half.  That was the worst I've seen him look since Jax last year.  Luckily he was an absolute freak in the first half to put the game out of reach early on.

Team/Allen just looked like they wanted to throw haymakers all half when Green Bay was conceding jabs.

Also should be noted that our Tackles really struggled, which led to JA never being able to have a clean pocket.

Also, Davis seemed to really struggle.  Alexander had him in his head, including a dropped slant that likely goes to the house.

Going back to last year he’s had some bad games at home against lesser opponents.  Falcons last year 3 picks, took him out of the MVP race and even the pro bowl.  Good news he usually plays better when it matters the most. 1000 yards 10-0 TD ratio, 125+ rating last 3 games at KC.  He’s the anti-Kirk cousins.

3rd Quarter had 1 drive:

FG 11 plays 56 yards

4th Quarter had 3 drives:

INT 6 plays -4 yards

INT 4 plays 41 yards

Punt 12 plays 43 yards

We had no problem moving the ball in the 2nd half. The "issues" on offense were solely a result of Allen's 2 picks. If those 2 picks don't occur, there is zero chance we are talking about how we played poorly in the 2nd half.

Packers have a quality pass defense.

Packers coaches made good second half adjustments.

Packers defensive coordinator confused Josh at times.

Josh got greedy and made plays that he knew immediately thereafter were boneheaded and ill advised.

While I would’ve rather seen Josh and the Bills dominate for four quarters, sometimes you need a game like this. Coach will be whooping ass this week. Everyone will be locked in, because no one likes the taste the second half left in their mouths.

The team, and Josh, will hopefully be better for this game. The fact that they were still able to win by 10 is excellent.

True, though there were drops in those drives as well IIRC - Davis and Diggs? Without those perhaps the INT's wouldn't have happened. And then we had Davis' moronic penalty too. As well as the INT's there was the overthrow to Kumerow as well, which led to the punt.

It does show that Josh was not actually awful in the second half; just the fourth quarter. The drive in the third quarter was decent from him.

He was awful. Could care less what some made up nerd metric says.

Best QB in the NFL who had a bad game. It happens. Who cares. We won comfortably. And move on.

He was awful in one quarter; for three quarters he was fine.

The possession after the GB stop on 4th and short was pretty atrocious. About 6 plays, 3 Awful throws by Allen and a drop by Davis(what else is new?) then an INT across his body.

They won and I imagine they’ll be more focused to play a full 4 quarter game next week.

Yeah but one bad drive is one bad drive.

Yeah I think the INTs were in his head on that overthrow. Just some as he would call it "boneheaded" decisions.

I expect it to be out of his head next week.

The Bills played an undisciplined game and Josh Allen sucked in one quarter ... and the win was STILL never in doubt.  I'll take that any day.

I almost (not really) feel bad for the Jets, because they are going to get their asses handed to them for four complete quarters of football.

QBR is an imperfect metric.  An informed observer - like most of us - can evaluate a QBs performance than any existing metric.  Josh wasn't good in the 4th quarter and did not play at his potential yesterday.

As talented as the Bills are on offense and as banged up as the Packers were on defense, I expected a better show from Dorsey, Allen and company.
