And if you remember Beane made what in hindsight was an uncharacteristic move trading a 3rd rounder for Kelvin Benjamin so Schoen would be making a similar play throwing money OBD's way if that happens to make a run this year. Probably still just a WC team at best unless the Eagles peak too soon, but it goes to show how important coaching really is to unluck a rosters potential sometimes. That and having a talent like Barkley healthy has mattered a lot this year on a team everyone expected to be in mix for the #1 overall pick next year. For starters, the Giants will need to make the playoffs before we talk about how far ahead of schedule they are compared to the Bills. And next year both Jones and Barkley are UFAs and they'll need to either pay those guys big bucks to stay or find replacements. As for OBJ, he'll only go there if they give him a huge deal (which isn't what happened in Benjamin's case) and then you have the concern of him reverting to his old ways when they start losing next year. 2

They're at best a WC team winning based on Defense that will be looking for a QB next year if they're smart. How is that not the 2017 Bills?

I'll go for somewhat of a surprise and say McKenzie, not because I personally think he's a waste of roster space, but because we now have another viable return option in Hines and OBJ would have to take the lion share of the WR3/slot snaps and that's where I think you have to make a tough decision especially because you aren't going to release or sit a guy like Shakir. Kumerow.

If that’s the case, every team in the league is a viable option

Lol can you let the season play out before you jump the gun like you always do? The Bills started off 5-2 that year which is one game difference from what the Giants did so far this year. The Giants are eeking out most of those games to get to 6-1. The Bills did not eek out their 5-2 record that season.

But the question is what side does he lean towards more? His tweet showing displeasure at the money offered to him by LA and saying "I know what I'm worth" makes me feel he may be leaning more towards money. In which case, I don't know if we're as big of a suitor as we're led to believe. Bc I don't see us offering him much or anything long term. The Giants have been one of the two luckiest teams in the NFL. They’re not good but they play hard.

He needs to go where he can put the best content on film before the off-season. That’s a combo of best qb, most favorable and most familiar playbooks, and most games to be played. dude isn’t showing up in December for 8 weeks for a ring, he’s doing it to get paid in March and a ring affords both time and quality film is all

Process
I want OBJ here too but von needs to chill a little bit, it's becoming a bit much. We have a super bowl team with her without him. Keep the focus on getting there with the guys we got and a little less worrying about getting your buddy here.

They are 6-2. I know the whole "ON ANY GIVEN SUNDAY THING" but their next two games are Nov 13th Texans at Giants and Nov 20th Lions at Giants. Two home games against bad teams. Good chance they get to 8-2 and they will still have 2 games against Washington left. In the weak NFC I think they will find a way to get in the playoffs. The NFC is so devoid of talent that it's like a minor league at this point. I think the Eagles look good but I don't know who the 2nd best team is

Wouldn't rule out BAL or CIN either.

Eagles have a very friendly schedule the 1st half of season for sure and looks like much of the same the rest of the way. That being said I think 49ers are better and would probably spank that ass
