Success Posted January 16, 2022 Share Posted January 16, 2022 I wish they wouldn't make a big deal out of that whistle. The WR was wide open, and it was a great play by Burrow. Its true but the play is dead when the whistle blows. Thats the rule. It would be the same if the whistle blew and a player fumbled like at that point. I never know why teams dont do the fake spike like Dan Marino in that situation! or try a fade that only the receiver can catch or its incomplete.
